Lion Tower Miniatures Adventurers Feb 24th

About this project

The Pride of Lion Tower Miniatures

I have been sculpting my own range of figures to accompany a tabletop game that I have been working on, and also to serve as high quality Role Play miniatures for gaming and miniature enthusiasts.

The figures are 32mm scale, and this wave of figures are Human Male characters of varying class archetypes in line with systems such as Dungeons and Dragons and Pathfinder.   More figures will be added as the campaign progresses and goals are achieved. The initial 7 figures can be viewed below:

The funds raised will be used to cover the costs of production including high resolution 3D printing, mold making, casting and packaging.

The 3D prints are of the highest quality with impeccable detail at 32mm scale, and these prints will be professionally cleaned and prepared for mould making, and resin copies will then be produced and sold.  For game production, I do intend to produce the figures in white metal, however for the purposes of this Kickstarter they will be available for a limited time in resin.

Each figure is supplied with a slot on the bottom of the model which fits into a standard slotted wargaming figure base.  Each model will be supplied with 25mm round slotted plastic base.

Figures are supplied unpainted, and will require cleaning with washing up liquid and warm water prior to priming and painting.  They may also require some removal of excess material form the casting process (known as flash), which can usually be simply removed with a small file and/or a craft knife or scalpel.  If you would like your miniatures painted, I can put you in contact with a few great commission painters who will be sure to do a fantastic job for you!

If this campaign is successful, there will be subsequent campaigns to produce female and racial variants of all classes including Dwarves, Elves, Halflings and Orcs.

KICKSTARTER EXCLUSIVE MINIATURE

There is an additional miniature which I have made which I am also making available through the Kickstarter as a backer exclusive miniature. This is an alternative version of the Barbarian in a diorama format, standing over the disembodied head of a slain dragon.  The model comes on its own rocky base, so a plastic base is not required and so is not supplied.  The diorama is 32mm scale, with the Barbarian himself is around 40mm from head to foot (he's a bit of a brute!)

This miniature will be available during any Kickstarter campaigns I run, however will not be available by any other means at any time - it is 100% Kickstarter exclusive!

A left-handed ranger? That's a bit unusual.

There's something 'off' about his pose, but I can't figure out what.

But my major concern is how castable his arrow is. In 54 or 75mm scale I can understand it, but in this scale?

Possibly a left-handed human male rogue, too, no? I know that if I was to have two weapons, out of which one required strength, agility and stamina to use, I would at least be using it with my mainhand. It is actually very hard to strike as precice and as hard with your offhand compared to your mainhand, while it is fairly easy to aim and shoot with your offhand.

The druid, fighters warhound, monk, rangers pet wolf and paladin have been unlocked and they are very close to unlocking the bard.

LAST 24HRS OF THE CAMPAIGN.

All stretch goals have been reached and unlocked for a total of 30 miniatures, male and female variants of each of the characters, a few pets/companions, a Lion God and a KSE Barbarian.

There is talk of a few more pets/companions being added at last minute or in the pledge manager.

The Lion God below is a WIP.

      Announcing Relic Knights: 2nd Edition

Ninja Division Publishing and Soda Pop Miniatures are excited to announce Relic Knights: 2nd Edition and its first expansion Void Break. Relic Knights: 2nd Edition and Void Break will feature new and revised rules for the Relic Knights miniature skirmish game, a new 2-Player Starter, brand new units, beautiful new sculpts for many existing units, gorgeous new art, and exciting fiction continuing and expanding the Relic Knights universe. The Relic Knights: 2nd Edition Rulebook, 2-Player Player Starter, and Void Break expansion book will be launched through Kickstarter in the last half of February, 2017.

      2nd Edition Rules
The 2nd Edition rules are an evolution and refinement of the Relic Knights 1.5 rules which were released in downloadable form in 2016. The new rules continue to feature Relic Knights’ unique card-based mechanic where players manage a hand of esper to initiate powerful attacks and actions; as well as the ready queue mechanic where you must carefully plan your units’ order of activation to maximize their potential and impact on the game.
Units are now organized into two categories, Heroes and minions. Whenever a Hero is activated they may also activate a minion, allowing these units to perform their vital battlefield roles, without taking space in your ready queue. Unsurprisingly, the mighty Knights with lead your cadres are powerful Heroes, who are instrumental in unlocking your entire cadre’s full potential.
Every unit in Relic Knights will be completely updated, with many units acquiring brand new upgrade options, such as special weapons, alternate gear, and unique abilities, allowing players to customize their cadres to their specific playstyle. An upgrade deck will be available (and included for free in Kickstarter pledges) for veteran players to be able to quickly and easily update their existing collection to 2nd Edition

      Beautiful New Models
Soda Pop and Ninja Division are committed to making Relic Knights a stunning visual experience on your gaming table. As part of that commitment the studio has taken a hard look at the entire Relic Knights range of plastic miniatures to determine which models meet our standards for quality, and which must be retired and given the gorgeous resculpts they deserve. Those models that didn’t pass review will be discontinued immediately and will be resculpted and manufactured in high-quality resin. Models which passed review will be repackaged and updated for 2nd Edition, being resculpted and making the transition to resin only once the existing stock has been depleted. You can follow this link to find a complete list of which models will be discontinued, resculpted, or continue into Relic Knights: 2nd Edition.

Resculpts are not the only part of 2nd Edition! In 2016 Soda Pop and Ninja Division released a small sample of the new units coming to the Relic Knights universe. These models were only the tip of the proverbial iceberg. In addition to the original units from Darkspace Calamity, the 2nd Edition rulebook will feature two additional units per faction, and the Void Break expansion will feature four more new units per faction. The Prismatic sub-factions (Void and Radiant) will also receive a massive influx of new units allowing them to provide additional options to the six primary factions, but also the ability to be played as standalone cadres. More Darkspace units are also ready to join your cadres. This all combines to make Relic Knights: 2nd Edition a bonanza of exciting and breathtaking new models for fans of Relic Knights!

      About this project
Pledge to fund The Assault Group's transfer of five 28mm Landsknecht Zombie miniatures, from White Knight's Miniature Imperium.
With two large Kickstarters under our belt, and with a least two more to come to complete the transfer of White Knight's private range, we looked at what we still have left to release; Sea Elves, Dwarf Bear Knights on foot, the Land Griffons, all exciting stuff, but we have these great zombie minis, that didn't really fit in anywhere with anything else...
...grr... But, as these are excellent minis, and well-worth bringing fully to as large an audience as possible, we have decided to run them as a tiny (miniature even) Kickstarter all of their own.
As the low Fund Goal indicates, we don't anticipate that this a large or difficult undertaking; the minis are made, the master mould prepared, and all we really need to do is make a new Production mould and cast the numbers required of this Kickstarter.
      ...ahhhh... Pledge Levels.
Pledge £15, for one of each of the 5 different 28mm size white metal models. Pledge £45, for five of each of the 5 different 28mm size white metal models. ...roar...
      Stretch Goals.
£1000+ Add a Special Addition Freebie miniature, to all Pledges at £45+ £2000+ Add a Limited Edition Landsknecht Zombie all Pledges. (more details to follow)
      Mini Size.
Scale shot. As you can see these are large 28mm, or 30mm model.
      ...mumble...

      About this project
In the lands of the North, where the Black Rocks stand guard against the cold sea, in the dark night that is very long the Men of the Northlands sit by their great log fires and they tell a tale... and this tale is one of bringing the works of Peter Firmin and Oliver Postgate to life in the form of metal miniatures suitable for both collecting and gaming.
Peter Firmin and Daniel Postgate, Oliver's son, have given their licensed blessing to this project. Every miniature produced will be lovingly packaged in the heart of the lead belt, otherwise known as Nottingham, and then shipped to all backers. There are many more miniatures in the offing provided funding is reached which will encourage me to keep going....and to ensure my bank manager doesn't rue the day I walked through his door a few months back with a tiny acorn of an idea.....
The 16 initial sculpts, by the awfully talented Martin Buck, have already been mastered by the also talented hands of another dedicated Noggin fan, Peter Brown of The Mouldmaker. Each miniature is on a 20mm round base (although these have shrunk slightly in the moulding process) and average about 30mm in height.
Peter Firmin has been actively involved in the consultation, refinement and approval of the final figures after all, they are his creation! Daniel Postgate, Oliver's son, is of course involved in the project for Smallfilms.
They will be cast in a white metal alloy and boxed in a rather nice presentation set unless you choose the single blister option.
Packaging work in progress  Although all of the miniatures look wonderful in the bare metal as supplied, they really come alive with the addition of a little paint and colour - look at what can be achieved in the pics below - fabulous paintwork from the gifted hands of brush maestro Andrew Taylor

A lot more sculpts are planned, some are works in progress that will be posted as updates throughout the course of the Kickstarter. This Kickstarter is to allow the production of the first 16 sculpts as a set and to finance the production of the rest.
