Not sure I can make my will save against this Kickstarter.  A have several of their metal minis and I really like them.

I do too.

Just saw pics of the undead sets. Some excellent sculpts in those. Very tempting.

Plus I don't have any undead western figures... Yet.

Sure wish I knew what western mini's were going to be offered in Bones IV. With Gloomhaven the previous day, Reaper Bones IV and Dwarven Forge in a few months, and the taxman in two weeks, there's not much budget left for 110 resin miniatures!

I like some of the female figures, but some of those legs are very long, even with the high heels.

The sculpts look good but I am not really interested in the western theme and they are resin not metal.  Will save made.  I wish them luck,  but I wont be joining in on this one.

I'm on the fence. I would be in if there were some nice town citizens to go along with them. There are definitely a few that could be converted to such though. I have a few Black Scorpion western minis in both resin and metal and they are among some of my favorites.

I find I like one or two from this set, one or two from that, same for another. But in those same sets there's usually one or two that I have no interest in at all.

Guess I'm on that fence with you.

No, I agree. In all sets, there is at least one figure that I would not normally pick up. But each pack of 4 figures for £9. That is a pretty darn good deal, even if one particular figure isn't what one desires. E-bay the ones you don't like. :) The stretch goals are spaced out pretty wickedly insane, though. I wonder if they are really calculating to reach this high. I don't know how popular their pirate game is, or how large their fanbase is. But it looks like they have worked harder to prepare a lot in advance, so this should really be a smooth and fast fulfillment.

Take a look at their website. The figures are only slightly higher cost, free shipping at 50 pounds, and some non-western miniatures as well. Still have four packs.

Wonder what time this is going to launch?  Supposed to be today, but still preliminary.

and it's live, and funded!  I failed my will save and went for the full meal deal + book.  I've been wanting to do a Wild West game for a while now, and I like the look of the figures.  <sigh>  Now to explain the charge when it appears on the card to the missus!

That female deputy is sweet. I may go in for the "mix and match" option.  I think I have Billy the Kid from a previous KS or something. Or a very similar sculpt.

      About this project

A Song of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game is a competitive miniatures game for two or more players. Each player controls one of the Great Houses of Westeros, commanding battlefield units, recruiting legendary Heroes, and manipulating the political stage, in the attempt to claim the greatest prize of all: The Iron Throne. Featuring House Stark and House Lannister, the Starter Set comes with over one hundred amazing, preassembled miniatures that are ready to play out of the box! All-new sculpts are based off original art created for the game by our crew under the direct supervision of George R.R. Martin and Dark Sword Miniatures, to ensure that the game delivers what fans have been envisioning for years.
The Stark vs Lannister Starter Set is a perfect introduction to a new miniatures game. With accessible and streamlined gameplay designed by Eric M. Lang and Michael Shinall, A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game features 5 different Game Modes, Army Building and Customization options, and choices of Commanders and Attachments. This Set packs a lot of gameplay for 2 players!

The loyal followers of the Direwolf Banner rally to defend the North! Miniatures come unpainted. Just before starting a game, players must build their armies, based on an agreed upon amount of points. Using these points, players forge the core of their army with powerful  Combat Units, such as the Stark Sworn Swords or Lannister Guards into their army. Each of these units has its own strengths and weaknesses.
