These are actually pretty cheap if you can find them.  $20 a box.

ETA:  Of course now that I'm trying to find more it looks like they are out of print.  Le sigh.

I used these a few years ago when we revisited necromunda.  They do work incredibly well for that kind of sci-fi terrain imo.

I think they were out of print then but I found mine at a flea market and had no clue what they were then.

Very cool terrain piece!!

And yes, it's a shame that they are getting so darn hard to find.

I had gotten a couple of the Pegasus terrain kits for possible steam punk stuff. I was intimidated by the beasties' complexity.

Yours are BEAUTIFULLY put together. You may well have inspired me to give mine a try...or not.

I see they have a Chemical Plant @ $40.00.  Do you know how they would compare to CAV's scale?

The chemical plant I haven't seen. The power plant is scaled for 28 mm. It could be used with CAV but would look a bit odd.

ETA:  I have now looked at the chemical plant on their site and it looks like it would translate to CAV better than the power plant, so long as you are wanting a pretty large chemical plant. I would probably leave off the wheel valves for CAV as they are the one element I see that would mess with the scale look.

I guess these are not out of print all together, just certain ones, maybe...

There is a u.s. based store that sells these that has the hexagon set, which I have and like for necromunda, currently in stock while the others are listed as temporarily out of stock.

I have acquired three of the Chemical Plants.  It shows five possible setups for a start.  It looks fairly good next to CAVs.  I think they should form a rather nice, large plant in my mountain terrain.  The instructions mention a Platformer kit to go with the plant but I did not readily notice it on the web site, I will keep looking.

The images are out there, but it may be that Pegasus isn't distributing for Technolog anymore.  There might be another (Western) distributor, but I'm merely curious and not motivated enough to do any more--at this time.    Who is to say how motivated I will be in a couple months?

After some time, I finally wrapped up my two sets of Death Guard from the new Warhammer 40,000 starter set, "Dark Imperium".  The entire second set is converted, I'm not a fan of clones in my armies.

      The rotting masses:

The Lord of Contagion, no real work done to him other than the paint:

Rotbringer Goth'ma, my count-as Typhus, built from the Lord of Contagion:

The Malignant Plaguecaster, another standard build:

And an Icon Bearer, converted from the Plaguecaster:

      The Putrid Blightbringer:

A Sorcerer conversion from the Blightbringer.  He could also count as Necrosius:

      The Plague Champion:

He's the only non-Poxwalker who I didn't convert for the second copy.  I set him aside, as there's another Plague Champion coming in the First Strike starter set.   Maybe he'll be useful for one of the new entries when the Death Guard codex comes out.

I grabbed some Chaos Cultists from the Dark Vengeance box from a buddy of mine. Don't know what I'm going to use them for. Maybe Shadow War eventually.

Anyway, didn't want to spend a lot of time on them so I just spray primed with the AP color primers then applied some basic base costs. I finished them off with the AP strong tone quickshade followed by the anti shine. I think they turned out pretty well.

thanks for looking. Comments and critiques are always appreciated.

Ok so a little background, a friend of mine had this mini laying around for many years.  He had inherited it from a friend many years ago and it had been primed, sort of. It was covered in a really nasty thick white paint that covered much of the detail.  He asked me if I would paint it and I said sure.  I tried all of the usual stuff to remove the paint with little success then resorted to oven cleaner which worked but I don't recommend it as the fumes are nasty.  So here she is hope you like her.

Taking a break from working on my Kingdom Death stuff to paint this:-

Choose this one because I need to learn to paint without leaning forward so much, so a big, chunky dude seemed like the best place to start.

I'll make a start on the skin tomorrow, if I'm up to it.

Fresh off the paint table, some Rogues from the Stars from...well, "Rogue Stars".  They're very retro, and would definitely work for "Slipstream" or "Rogue Stars" as well.

      The assembled Rogues:

The Captain (though he strikes me as more of a Rogue Trader:

      The Rogue:

      The Lionman:

      Sniper-Bot:

      The Floyd-Bot:

      Big Bot:

      The Dominar...er, Crime Lord:

      Security Officer:

      The Pirate:

      Turtle-Turle:
