I can't hear that song anymore and not see 'Viking Kittens'.

Youtube pulled the video down for some reason though.

Viking Kittens at your service!!

Love the 80s vibe of the lettering & such. Marvel is gonna make a sick amount of cash this year in the movies!

Uh wut?

Apparently she's always been Hela? I'll check my Marvel Universe books when I get home to verify.

I could ha' sworn she was "Hel" in the Thor comics I read back in the early '70s.

If I'm wrong, I apologize for getting mythology all over things.

According to wiki:

Hela is a fictional supervillainess appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The Asgardian goddess of death is based on the Norse goddess, Hel. The ruler of Hel and Niflheim, the character has been a frequent foe of Thor. Debuting in the Silver Age of comic books, Hela first appeared in Journey into Mystery #102* and was adapted from Norse Myths by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

She will make her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Thor: Ragnarok, played by Cate Blanchett.

I've been looking for Beta Ray Bill since The Avengers, Ragnorak would be an excellent opportunity to bring him in as a member of the Chitauri.

This too...

"He stood alone at Gjallerbru..."

As Pingo said, I love that scene.  It's the most Norse mythology thing that ever happened in the entire run of Thor.

Here are a couple of images from that part of the comic

Of course!:winkthumbs:

I was most interested to find out that my suspicions about who the BBL (big bad lady) was turned out to be correct.

This looks like it ought to be a good fun movie.

Assembly Required is a feature film about the world of gaming. On Kickstarter now http://kck.st/2La7UCY - 90% FUNDED

Lifelong gamers and brothers Dore and Dante Harbridge Robinson have quit their jobs as VFX artists to bring to life a comedy feature film all about the world of gaming. Assembly Required tells the story of Theo, a modern day Viking warrior who is also a passionate wargamer. His one regret is losing touch with his childhood gaming group. By chance, years later they all meet in a field. Whilst Theo has honed his skills on the tabletop and become a master with a cardboard sword, his old friends have entered the very real underworld of crime. Genuinely impressed by his sword wielding abilities they want Theo involved in their latest heist! But what does Theo want?
The movie is on Kickstarter Now, ending 15th July. Packed with rewards including exclusive miniatures and a one time opportunity to join the cast and act in a massive wargaming film!

The film is being supported by Weta Workshop Lord of the Rings sculptor Gary Hunt, and the Nova Open.

The first teaser trailer is out for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.   I know there's a lot of controversy surrounding Johnny Depp's casting as Grindewald, and the original movie had a luke warm reception (I liked it); but Jude Law sure does make a cool young Dumbledore and I'm interested to see what he does with the character.

      About
      VERSION FRANCAISE
COMMANDO NINJA is an 80's action comedy, tribute to the Action Hero Movies, written and directed by Benjamin Combes.
The story follows a Vietnam Green Beret Vet, Half Commando, Half Ninja, whose daughter has been abducted by a secret Ninja Organization, led by a Central-American dictator, who wants to create a new-world order... through time...

When I started this project over a year and a half ago, I was driven by a strong love for the 80s (This is David Sandbergs line but I can't say better).
I watched again all Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Steven Seagal, Dolph Lundgren movies; wrote my script, took $5000 of my own money and just started shooting whenever my friends and I had time!
We have now enough material to create a 45 minute long film!
Commando Ninja takes place in a variety of exotic locations:
1980s Los Angeles, Canada mountains, Vietnam War, Central-America, Post-Apocalypse...
John will live an adventure through many places ... and times  Everything was shot on real sets, with practical VFX, as they did in the 80's! There is absolutely no way we shoot something on a green screen!
The soundtrack of the movie will feature famous Synthwave artists like Cobra Copter, Flash Arnold and OGRE.
The original soundtrack has been composed by a great music composer, Thomas Cappeau, and is by itself a love letter to the 80's action movie soundtracks :

Other famous artists from the 80's revival wave joined the project, among them :
       - Blood+Chrome made the Commando Ninja animated logo
