But then again it's possible I might never back another KS and paint all my mini's as well.

There is a scary thought.

I wasn't planning on backing any more miniature KS's, but then I saw Limbo and they are offering resin..

For those of you in the US who have got your mini's already, did they show up USPS or Fedex, or UPS?

Hopefully mine will redirect, if being sent by USPS. Still haven't seen any tracking info.

Thanks!

Good question. Mine had a FEDEX China, FEDEX, and USPS code on the box. So I assume it is the partnership where FEDEX drops it at the local post office for final delivery here in Central Illinois.

Hmm. Now I wonder if I will get a FEDEX or USPS notice...or both. (Or maybe neither)

Received all the rest of my pledge. Forgot how many Fatty Bursters I bought.....all the extra stuff comes in a Zombicide box of its own.

I had a good Friday, this and Re-Load arrived, so tons of great minis. I took some pics.

The dragon looks epic, like an undead jabberwock inspired creature. Freddie Mercury and Vashara from Load are ready to take it on though.

Next is a very blurry :P demigorgon and a massive minotaur next to the epic winged centaur Seera from Load and a Reaper dude for scale.

Here we have a Load squad facing off with the X-Men and Solomon Kane. My money is on the Zombicide team, as they brought the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog along as backup.

The rest of mine showed up today. Their sculpts are just so stunning! Very excited about the MD x-over, too, as I prefer MD.

The plastic is decent for gaming pieces, but the sculpts are so good, I keep wishing it was just a little bit better...

I agree.  There have been several of the CMON figures that I would happily buy in resin, metal or proper plastic if they were made available individually or in small (very!) sets.

I mean, I don't really buy minis anymore and probably wouldn't buy them individually....so it's a pretty idle complaint. Back in my collecting days, yeah, there are some that it's a crying shame aren't in display quality formats...Not-Storm is soooo amazing (after I lop off that staff)...

Mine arrived last week.  Even though I've only had time to open part of it, I'm already looking at pre-ordering expansions and guest artist boxes.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls! Gamers of all ages!
Going down? Frog God Games is proud to present Rappan Athuk, THE DUNGEON OF GRAVES! The Granddaddy of all Megadungeons is back for Fifth Edition!
Mock-up hardcover with actual cover design. Characters will test their mettle against puzzles, tricks, and traps a-plenty; test their grit and steel against monsters and foes lurking around every corner; and at the end of it all awaits the Big Daddy himself, Orcus. These are truly adventures worth winning.
      — “I once killed a man, just to watch him die” – a Man in Black
      — “Hold my goblet” – Orcus

Interior mockup with actual pages from Rappan Athuk for Fifth Edition. Rappan Athuk is back for Fifth Edition. Not just back though, it is reloaded with all kinds of new extras including:
All new, full color artwork Three new levels of the Dungeon itself   Three new Wilderness locations, including a three-level castle  A new three-level satellite dungeon  A sea-cave of terrible shark-men! A Kickstarter exclusive level released from the Vault of Tsathogga!  Updated color maps, available as separate PSD files for online play, are included for all levels Scores of NPCs and Monsters, dozens of Magic Items and Spells, and the legendary Dung Monster await you!  Art comparison between 2012 and new edition.   Weighing in at over 500 pages, Rappan Athuk for Fifth Edition is an instant classic in the Mega-Dungeon genre, featuring 100+ keyed and color mapped areas with over 56 dungeon levels, several satellite dungeons (almost 20 additional levels!), the village of Zelkor's Ferry, 22 wilderness areas (ways to die before you ever reach the dungeon) and seemingly countless groups of bandits and monsters that prey on those fortunate enough to escape the halls and caves of Rappan Athuk with treasure in hand!
With decades of playtesting and use in campaigns across the globe, the Dungeon of Graves can be a foundation of any campaign or eviscerated into pieces and blended into any campaign!
Map comparison between the two editions.
Once upon a time, there was an idea—an idea formulated by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson in 1974 and published in a little paperback book called Underworld Adventures. The idea was simple: it is a lot of fun to go into a dungeon and kill evil monsters. Why is the dungeon there? No one knows. Why do the monsters usually fight rather than talk? We aren’t really sure. Why are there 16 trolls in a cave with a jug of alchemy? No one cares. What do all the monsters eat? We don’t know that either (although “adventurer” probably tops the list). And we don’t have to know these things. This isn’t an ecology experiment, it’s a dungeon—the quintessential setting for pure swords and sorcery adventuring.
This adventure pays homage to that original idea. True, there are opportunities for role playing, but most of this module is dedicated to “roll playing.” Hopefully, while exploring the halls of Rappan Athuk, you will recall the thrill of discovery, the terror in your heart when you fought your first skeleton, the joy of rolling your first natural 20, and the despair you felt when that 1 came up for your poison save. This module, Rappan Athuk—The Dungeon of Graves, is nothing more and nothing less than a good, old–fashioned, First Edition dungeon crawl updated for the 5th Edition Roleplaying Game. Very difficult, it should strike fear into the hearts of the most stalwart adventurers. It offers an abundance of traps, tricks, and monsters. We hope that you find this module as fun and exciting as those thousands of players who have ventured into (and not as often out of) the endless caverns and mazes of Rappan Athuk—The Dungeon of Graves. Rappan Athuk is a difficult dungeon. Even the upper dungeon levels should not be attempted by a party of less than six mid-level characters.
Only truly veteran players should attempt this dungeon with lower level characters. In light of this, we added the satellite dungeons, including Bill's very first work (from 1977), Tunnels of Terror! This 9-area dungeon was used as the introduction to his campaign and led his players to Rappan Athuk through play.

      A kickstarter from a company called Rebel Minis, who I have no experience with;

      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1117146348/dark-hold-kobold-28mm-scale-miniatures-horde-for-r?ref=category_newest&ref=discovery

It looks like quite a good way to get a large number of figures, all rather old-school and not at all expensive.

There is an early-bird add-on of a goblin pack-bearer, which I like the look of.

      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/416262521/scenic-resin-bases-for-28mm-tabletop-wargame-minia?ref=discovery

After a successful 1st kickstarter project earlier in the year I am back with a second.
This time I am looking to extend my existing range of 28mm scenic bases with 3 further lines. I already make bases as part of my business and have paved bases, lava bases etc. along with various bits of terrain in my range already.
Moonkraft is a fairly new start up and I am looking to add many many more goodies to what I already sell. I have a brain overflowing with ideas, the only trouble is deciding which to do 1st.
If you are like me and are a miniature painter and gamer, then you already know that a good base will give you miniature the finish you want and can really make or break a good bit of painting. Also this bit of modelling can be a little tedious and time consuming and if you are painting a new army those minutes soon add up and turn into hours.
I have created 3 new sets of bases, Rocky outcrops, Skulls and Rocks and my personal favourite Atlantian Temple Ruins. I need to raise just £500 for the moulding costs to produce all 3 of these sets of bases. which I will add to my growing range of terrain and bases.
The bases were sculpted by myself and I have made them in 3 sizes, 25mm, 30mm & 40mm so they should fit all the sizes you require.
The pictures don't do them justice.
25mm Temple bases 30mm Temple Bases 40mm Temple Bases 25mm Skull & Rock Bases 30mm Skull & Rock Bases 40mm Skull & Rock Bases 25mm Rocky Outcrop Bases 30mm Rocky Outcrop Bases 40mm Rocky Outcrop Bases I do things the old fashioned way, no 3D printing or computer software, I build and sculpt, then I make moulds, then I cast. If necessary there may be a 2nd mould made to improve casting after any adjustments have been made, but this is a rarity as I am an old hand at the process.
The funds will be used for the silicone to make the molds (the expensive bit) and also go towards the resin.
Postage. We will be shipping the set out as soon as the funds come in and the prices are set to the following 3 zones: UK, Europe & Rest of World. Prices are based on Royal Mail to calculate the cost.
