Happy May Day! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_Day

Question the 1st of May: Does your area (or you yourself) celebrate May Day in any way?  And just so we don't get a whole bunch of "Nope" in the answers, Question the 1st of May, Part 2: This past Saturday was International Tabletop Day.  Did you participate, and if so, what did you play?  (Bonus points for celebrating internationally!)

Nope and nope, today is the first day that I've felt human in a week. Norovirus isn't something to be messed with folks.

I don't, and if it's celebrated locally, I am unaware of the festivities.  Except for maybe a watching of "Safety Dance".

Nope, and yes! I played Frostgrave, though it didn't exactly go well for my warband...

The answers to both of those questions is "No", unless you see getting 2 Boxes of Nobz counds as participating in International Tabletop Day.

Have always heard of May Day but never knew what it was, so no.

As for international table top day, I didn't get to play, but I did get a decent amount of painting (for me) done.  Does that count?

I am unaware if my area celebrates May Day. I have celebrated Beltane several times before, but have no plans for doing so this year.

I did not know it what Saturday was, and I had mandatory fun that I had to go to, so I did not get to participate.

I did do some painting, though.

Other than speaking French to signal trouble, no.  And No I game on Tuesdays.  So so at your answers are mostly No-Nos

5/1: To the best of my knowledge, there really isn't any big May Day celebration in our area.  International Table Top day was celebrated with a couple of the D&D tile games.  My friends had never played them, so we got Castle Ravenloft and Temple of Elemental Evil on the table.

Back when I was in elementary school, we used to celebrate May day as part of social studies of other cultures.  There was usually a May pole and we were shoe "traditional" May pole dances with the ribbons.  Other than that, I've never really celebrated it.

I went to the FLGS and played DnD Adventure League.  We were victorious and I was able to complete my faction mission.  I also got the chance to try out a new game; Mystic Vale which is a deckbuilder with a cool mechanic.  Instead of drafting new cards, you modify your starting cards.  I quite enjoyed it.

Unfortunately, Nope and Nope.  However, I did talk to several different people about playing Magic in May... so... not sure if that counts or not, but it is more gaming than has happened in this old town in a long time.  Sadly, the only place that used to offer anything for us gamers was a Hastings, and when they went under / sold out, we lost the only place that sponsored any gaming activity.  Makes it hard to find others that would even be interested in playing.  Regardless, the Fourth is coming!

I celebrate neither version of May Day, though it might be fun to belt out a few verses of the Communist Internationale at the bar tonight. For International Tabletop Day, I ran a one-shot of my favorite RPG at my college Gaming Con.
