6/1: No specific plans for the Summer, yet.  Mostly just hanging out with the family and trying to avoid the daystar when it is hottest.

Nothing too big.  I have a couple quick trips to Chicago planned to see my Cubs and maybe a couple of museums.  Then in September I will be headed on an actual vacation to South Carolina, which will be nice as it will come about two weeks after I finish a murder trial, so I'll very much be ready.

I do not have any solid plans. I do hope to hang out with sibling before they possibly go off to college depending on what happens with their current applications. Husband may have school so that limits things. We've mostly got plans for the Fall though.

Work on getting in a shape besides round ::P:

I hear you.  I stepped on the scale yesterday.  I appear to have creeped back up towards my maximum weight again.  Gonna be hard to trim back down during BBQ season.

There are a few plans in the works but if they'll get done is another story. In no particular order:

  • Play in the FLGS' Escalation League for as long as my teetering health will hold out.
  • Supervise my wife and fairy godmother as they plant herbs and veggies.
  • Go to the cemetery on June 10th to celebrate my grandfather's birthday. We may just observe at home, though, as it's a long trip in the country.
  • Then there's my grandmother's birthday in July. It's also the month Mrs Meh and I met so we celebrate our first date. It's on my grandmother's birthday, too. (When you have a three month courtship, lots of days get special mention close together.)
  • My birthday is the last day in July. Coincidentally, it is also one of the High Holy Days. I don't celebrate my birthday, though.
  • Build a new altar and bless the new house. Might as well kill two birds with one stone. Less sage to burn.
  • Go shoot some guns with my father. I haven't shot in... five years? I was training with the Peace Officers for a little bit but that ended a while ago. Truth be told, this plan actually has me a bit nervous as I don't know how my body will react to the heavy recoil. Well, who dares wins, right?
  • Teach myself how to scrimshaw bone the traditional way.
  • Complete my shaman medicine stick. I've got all the pieces together, now to just affix everything to it. So excited!
  • September sees our 5-year anniversary before turning to Fall.
  • Squish on my squishy pillow named Squishy. I do this year-round but I thought it should be mentioned for completeness ^_^.

The Frequently Ignored "Rules"
1. Every day, or so (unless I am out or ill or something) I will post a question.
2. In theory there is a 24 hour span to answer that question before the next question is posted.
2.5. (Rule 2 is the most frequently ignored rule.)
3. Questions are going to be posted between 12:01AM and 5AM GMT.
3.5 (Rule 3 may be the 3rd most broken rule.)
4. Everyone is encouraged to submit questions to be posted by me via PM.
5. You do not have to answer every question...
6. If a question is TMI or N/A simply wait for the next question or post that you decline to answer (clues regarding why are always fun).
7. Weekend questions will take the form of three day challenges, starting on Fridays.

Nah, they're just transfinites. It turns out that 20 == Aleph -1.

Fail to drown in my own sweat, play ALL the games - or as many as can be managed with my group-hiccup issues - play with the cats and attempt to be more sociable.

.. this last may fail horribly because Girlblin + Summer Heat = GRUMPY GIRLBLIN. And our place has, inexplicably, no AC on the second floor. Don't ask.
