Hi friends:

After hard months of working, we´ve improved the game Iron League Blacks Stadium and the art has changed. Mechs and miniatures are amazing now. The board game has a new full cooperative campaign with map, scenary and enemies generation.

The competitive mode continues and has been improved.

So, we also want to change the title of the game, and this is:

IRON WARS

In July on Kickstarter. Soon more news.

The History:

Technology changed our past. Firstly gave us improvements, comfort, progress and evolution. But this technology used metals for military purposes. Metal and technology gave us armors and weapons. These armors and weapons got to be Mechs, and these piloted Mechs became very powerful.

In the year 2200 began the war, it was inevitable ... metal mixed with technology turned to fire, smoke and destruction.

Nowadays a few cities have survived, and are defended with great metal walls, mazes and gates to prepare a first defense before reaching the city center.

Men are only worth their armor inherited from parents to children. Sometimes armors are made with scrap and pieces of other Mechs, rarely are new designed and most often are stolen on the battlefield. Really there is no longer honor in the war.

Pirates, mercenaries and traitors attack the cities to conquer them, loot them or steal as much junk and technology as possible.

After so many years you have managed to form a small unit of mercenaries with a few Mechs, mechanics and droids. You vowed to defend those few cities that are still standing. Each time the attacks are harder and less resources are available, but Metal City, the place you was born, can´t fall.

Hi Pilots:
Many people have wondered about the possibility of closing the cockpit of the Mechs and I can show you how the cockpit will be closed.
We can get it via Stretch Goal and it will be totally customizable in every Mech.

We hope to launch the Kickstarter campaign in late july or early August
Soon Iron Wars

Closed cockpits?  Well I suppose I could paint up the ammo belts as nerf darts instead.  ::P:

Do you have a launch date yet?

Here is the CAV Lion II anti-grav tank from the upcoming kickstarter.  This resin master turned out great; the final will be in the grey Bones used by CAV!  Scheme is from the 5th Dornheim Brigade, "Marienburg Dragoons."  Their tanks are painted a dark grey while the CAVs wear the light blue and black.

Hey all!  Here is a resin master of the new upcoming Cheetah attack CAV!  I've painted it in the scheme of the 5th Dornheim Brigade, "Marienburg Dragoons."  The forthcoming model will be in the CAV grey bones which also paint up pretty nice!

In an effort to reduce confusion by people seeking information and asking on topic questions, we are creating two threads for our Bones 4 Kickstarter.
This is the thread for conversations, enthusiasm, and commentary.
This thread will be lightly moderated to ensure forum rules are followed and specific questions may be relocated to the Official Information thread.

      About this project
      Overview
Help us launch our first line of plastic miniatures for the tabletop games we all play and love.   Run by a family of gamers, Role 4 Initiative brings decades of experience in gaming and design.
You've seen our dungeon tiles and polyhedral dice, now we wish to bring that same quality and value to the table with 28mm high-detail pre-painted plastic miniatures.
Starting off with some of the most common player and monster types (Humans, Orcs, Zombies, and Skeletons), we will be producing all of our minis in sets of 6 or more per category, so you can easily and cheaply outfit your game with the figures you need.
Our goal is to bring a very highly detailed set of miniatures, with excellent paint jobs for a reasonable price.  We all love gaming, but we're not all great artists.  So, we will always provide miniatures that are fully assembled, professionally painted, and ready to use.
Our minis are made from a PVC material that provide both durability and flexibility.  We also have gone to great lengths to bring as much realism as possible by providing proper anatomical proportions in a 60:1 scale.

      The Process
First, we thought about some of the most memorable encounters of our games, wishing we had some appropriate miniatures to represent the characters and monsters in the story.

Then we envisioned what these characters would look like and hired artists to create 3D models, 2D renderings, and background scenery that fit our stories.  But made sure they could easily fit your stories too.

Finally, we took these models and renderings to our factory to create the plastic injection molds from which we were able to produce the painted samples you see below.
