60202: Rivani, Iconic Psychic and 77310: Water Weird

Great work.  I really like the color choices.  The eyes / eye glow is a great touch.

She is LOVELY in a decidedly spooky sort of way. Your eye for colors & deft work with the brush are OUTSTANDINGVERY WELL DONE!

I would image if the Girl had a familiar, it would be somewhat creepy or mildly psychotic...your WONDERFUL Water Weird would work...they do make a nice couple.

The eyes were a bit inspired by a class I took from Derek Schubert where he did a glowing eyes demo for us.

I was actually a bit sad to do glowy eyes on her, because she actually has nice big eyes that I could put some real pupils in - as opposed to more realistic scale eyes like Darksword does.

Who doesn't love Halflings in Mittens?

Wait, that's not the name of the set?  Why not?

Alright, it turns out they're actually "The Winter Adventurers" from a recent Midlam Miniatures Kickstarter.  As always, Midlam delivers nice old-school designs with newer sculpting methods and details.  I think quite highly of the company.

      The Halflings in Mittens:

      Wizards and their apprentices:

      The Dwarfette:

A human scout.  I tried to go with an Inuit look for her.

Also to go along with our Reign of Winter campaign.
This is the BONES Winter Wolf.
I had the most fun with the eyes.
Some of the pics came out a little dark, despite 3 lights.
It must be a camera thing...

      I haven't posted much lately.
Work and life have been busy.

We have been playing Reign of Winter.
The GM told me there would be some Snow Goblins.
I thought these Bones Gremlins look a lot like Pathfinder Goblins, so I gave them a wintry paint scheme and some snowy bases.

Kevoth-Kul the Black Sovereign. Am I the only person to have painted this? I usually like to take a look at other painted interpretations of minis that I'm considering to paint. I can't find a single one of this guy anywhere. I can't be the only one who likes it.

I painted this Karzoug, Runelord of Greed for a friend of mine to use as his climactic encounter in his campaign (yes that one). Tried to make him awesome, eventually chose to leave some of the freehand edges out, cause damnnn... Still I am quite pleased with him.
