My 16 lb sledgehammer. It's probably my favourite and most used tool all round. I use it to repair vehicles and equipment, pound posts and other things. Why is it a garden tool? Because I use it to drive stakes to tie twine to to make neat rows. The wife is the main gardener but she tends to plant things in clumps here and there. I tell her to put them in rows so that if I'm weeding I don't kill them.

My hands, followed closely by my stirrup hoe.

I have learned much from the gardens question...

Question for Rcon attendees: Are you all set to pick your classes for ReaperCon??

That is not the question of the day for the 14th. But since quite a few people check this thread it is a friendly reminder.

10AM Friday.

Reaper HQ Time. (CDT)

I think that is 4PM London Time.

I think that is 8AM San Francisco Time.

(Do doublecheck for your time zone!!)

T-minus 7 hours or so as I am posting.

The Daily Question might get posted after the classes frenzy.

Also, this weekend will be Raygunz Weekend and some kind of mini that could generate a zap-ray* would be handy in order to participate.

*...starships, big stompy robots, storm marines, space troopers, aliens, silver suited whatevers, small clanky robots...

I'll see what's still available when I get home.

Yesss!  I have 14 priority classes in 5 time slots... and around an hour or two after the servers go down under the initial stress, I'll be able to waltz in and pick some of them!

I'm good to go for both my wife's classes and mine, including having purchased our memberships.

Remember to purchase your membership before trying to get classes!

I wish I could go! :(

We wish you could go, too.

I really think we need to get more serious about replacing the GenghisCon painting track with a Denver painting con. Which probably means we need a real trail boss. Any volunteers?

Greetings forum things! Once again, I, the Griffin of Grumpiness snag the tattered robe of the Quisitor in my beak for this the ninth month of Old Rome's calendar and also the month all Turkeys Dread!

      Question for Thursday, Nov 1st:
Halloween is behind us, how long will you tolerate the decorations thereof?

When do yours (if you had some) get stowed away for next year?

I made a SNAFU and double booked myself for the Paint by Die Roll. The great kaiju has used his powers of internet and corrected it. However the Friday event had to be canceled. My apologies to everyone who was so kind to preregister. We have scheduled 2 new Paint by Die Roll events, One Thursday and one Saturday. We also added Survival Speed Paints after dinner every night. They are on the schedule and can be reserved. Again my apologies for messing up people's schedules!

Penny ^ ...New model in blister. ^

This guy is big enough to take up the footprint of four infantry skeletons. The penny is 19mm diameter. The plan is to give the figure a 40mm square, equivalent to four 20x20 bases arranged in a square.

He will count as four members of the unit he'll be assigned to.
