I am not normally into humanoid furry things, but sometimes they do come up, and that raven would make for a wonderful tengu. I expect I'll pick up a few things...

And I'm thinking the house will double for hobbits...although I'm probably "all in" this time around anyway.

Is, is the mouse house going to be in this project? I didn't miss it, did I? I need one!

Excuse me, I need to go rob a bank too.

Yep, it's for this project - really, it was because I needed it for the photos for the Osprey edition of the game rules, but once I'd sculpted it, it seemed rude not to add it to the project! ::D:

The raven might probably a bit big for a tengu, though... it's 46mm tall; they're big fellas in Burrows & Badgers.
Although the next Sensible Shoes project is looking increasingly likely to be a mix of tengu/kenku, tabaxi, kitsune, and stuff like that, so I'll make sure there's a couple of good raven-folk in there!

I've used mine for hobbits, and the various weird races from Anyaral, and in games of Relics too. I like my stuff to be multi-functional...

In other news, we're just waiting for Kickstarter to approve the project, which seems to take an entirely random amount of time, ranging variously from 0 seconds to about a week...  fingers crossed we'll hear from them by Monday, and we can launch then. ^_^

Oh, oops! Well, I will just keep looking forward to Sensible Shoes, then. Although that cottage does look awfully halfling-esque. Hmmm.

I have to remain strong! It's like buying a bag of chips. If I know they're in my house, I'm gonna eat all of them. So I don't buy chips.

Aaargh!

I was sitting there, refreshing the Oathsworn page waiting for the 11th project to appear, clicked in as soon as it came up, den deliberated for 2 seconds before picking my pledge. KS told me I was 1st backer after I'd OKed the payment option, but... when I check in my backed list, and the extended info there, I'm backer #2!

Dang those elfed 2 seconds I spent deliberating!

(It was that house. Should I or shouldn't I go for it? I ended up with 'Sorry, don't have any place to set it up. And should space ever become available, I can afford to pay retail for it)

I think someone might like Fearnly the Bold, Mouse Shieldmaiden....

My fave so far is Prickly Jane the Hedgehog Alchemist...

      About this project
This is a campaign to fund the launch of a set of 28mm Shambling Mound models for RPG and tabletop games. I have sculpted two adult Shamblers and a young Shambler. Initially the two adults will be offered for the campaign.
If we are able to hit the £1000 stretch goal for the campaign it will unlock the Young Shambler miniature.
If unlocked this figure will be added FREE to all backers.
This is a World Wide campaign with the postage as follows:
United Kingdom 4GBP, Europe 5GBP and Rest of the World 6GBP.
      Campaign Rewards.
      There are 3 reward levels.
Supporter. If you would like to back the campaign without receiving any of the rewards you can use this pledge level.
Lone Shambler! Choose this pledge if you would like one of the two Shambling Mould models. Choose from either SM 1: Shambler Walking or SM 2: Shambler Attacking.
Double Trouble! Choose this pledge level if you would like both SM 1 and SM 2 Shambling Mound sculpts.
      The Models.
The Shambling Mound models will be cast in high quality grey resin. They have been designed to fit on either a 40mm square or round base.

SM 2: Shambler Attacking is a two part model and will need assembly. Use superglue to attach seperate arm.
      Stretch goal!
We start the campaign with this initial stretch goal to aim for. If we get to the goal of £1000 the the Young Shambler will be unlocked and added FREE to all pledges. Additional Young Shambler models can be added for £2.

      About this project
The invention of dice can be traced back almost 5000 years.
However, the dice you see before you now, retain a much deeper history than that.
Crafted from the world's oldest wood, these dice are carbon dated to be 50,000 years old - 10 times older than the invention of dice themselves!
This is your chance to own a rare artefact of our planet's immense history!
Introducing the most fascinating gaming accessory in the world...
       The Wood: Ancient Kauri
Ancient Kauri is the oldest and most exotic wood in the world. Not one tree was cut down to harvest it.
Tsunamis levelled the mighty Kauri forests during the Stone Age, leaving the trees buried just below the surface of the ground and preserved in the water of peat swamps.
The Ancient Kauri wood has neither petrified nor turned to coal. This underground resting place, sealed from the air, became a perfectly balanced cocoon that preserved the giant trees for 50,000 years.
The wood used to craft the Ancient Dice is sourced from the awesome people over at Ancient Wood Ltd. All wood comes with certificates of aunthenticity.
The natural iridescence of this incredible wood resonates the historical significance behind these dice.
There is a very limited amount of Ancient Kauri on the planet.
These dice shift the barrier between present day, and The Stone Age. To own one is to own a genuine prehistoric artefact; a glowing relic of truly ancient history.
      50,000 Years Old
To give some context as to just how old these dice are, here’s some info on how different things were here on Earth, when the trees used to carve these dice fell:
Population was less than 10000 – humans faced extinction. Spoken and written language did not yet exist.  The Ice Age persisted. Humans lived in the Stone Age - coexisting with Neanderthals. Europe's population was 0. Since the trees fell, the moon has orbited Earth 675,925 times.

And now, for something completely different.

Yes, yes. I know. Not miniatures. But! Shiny! Art! With.. with .. with stuff. *Sage nod*
The book part usually gets shipped with efficiency; medals and patches and things seem to depend on the efficiency of the crafter making them, but communication is good and things generally show up. I haven't grabbed hardbacks; I've been happy with the soft covers.
