Bones 4 is Coming Soon!

I can't wait for Bones 4 and am planning on getting one of almost everything. It doesn't matter if I already have one or more of every Bones mini and will never get them all painted. It's called plastic crack for a reason.

Regardless of what the Kickstarter delivery date says, I'm setting my own expectation that Bones 4 will ship around June 2019 to the U.S. Hopefully, I'll be pleasantly surprised and it will ship sooner. If not, so be it.

I've been in for all of the Reaper owned and I think all of the Reaper-aligned Kickstarter projects. In all, I've pledged in about 75 Kickstarter projects total. I'd say less than 10 were delivered on time. Four completely defaulted, and only two of those returned my money. A few of the delivered projects were disappointing. I've worked in production before and understand there are ALWAYS production delays. The large majority of the projects have delivered awesome products. I am still a strong proponent of the Kickstarter model of funding projects.

People forget that Kickstarter IS NOT A STORE. This is an opportunity to invest a little money to help someone produce a cool project. Usually there's a worthwhile reward for backing the investment. There is no guarantee on an investment. You look at a project, weigh the likelihood that the producer will be able to deliver and make a decision if this is something you are comfortable backing. There's always a chance something could go wrong. It's a risk you take. If you don't like the odds, DO NOT back the project.

If you want something with no risks, then cross your fingers that others will back a particular project for you. Go ahead and wait for all of the production and logistics issues to get worked out. When everything is finally complete, THEN feel free to buy it from the store. Pay full price and feel comfortable knowing you took no risks and had no part in seeing something cool come to be.

Forgot to add... Stirges and robots, please.

Any tip on how to base them?

I just glued them to leftover round status markers from Malifaux.  They just need something to keep from falling over, so any sort of basing option will do.

If you don't like demons then call it a winged minotaur that just raided a red dragon's hoard.

Well, it is Bones; converting it shouldn't be too hard based on what I can see from the picture.

I already know what I'm going to do with it.

Is it bad that I already have conversion plans figured out for a thing that doesn't even exist yet?

It's not a demon.  It's a "creature of fire and shadow".

I am confused by the demon, as we already have a sword & whip wielding demon in bones.

Hello people! i would like to show the modular set of 3D printable terrain (WIP) that allows to build  generic concrete defensive positions.

Set 2 *Modular perimeter walls + dragon teeth/anti vehicle + small concrete nest
Set 3 *Turret Bunkers: 1 body with 3 different weapons (180mm artillery, single and double  60mm AA turret, and 152mm AT/anti building turret)
