I probably should have asked before I signed up but how far in over my head am I?

Not at all.  You sit down with a brush, the provided paints and model and follow the directions: paint something red, paint with your no dominant hand and so forth.  Basically it's painting with a handicap.

It's lots of fun, expect to get a little messy.  Don't worry, seats always fill for this event. :)

Sophie says: "Chuck your neighbors mini across the room."

Sophie says: "Paintbrushes no longer allowed. Paint only using your eyelashes."

Think "Simon Says" meets speed painting.

The original version I wrote uses a d12 to randomize the directions.

A d100 is interesting, but when you break it down, there's a limited number of viable actions to request.

There might be some value to using a nice, big spinner instead of dice. The anticipation among painters and audience as you watch the spinner slow down could be fun.
