Yanno...that would be a nice addition to the Dire animals Set.

I mean, it is a Dire Lion, but... with the Saberteeth... it counts in my book!

And actually it seems kind of like a cross between a sabertooth cat and a frostsaber looking cat.  Which is definitely a plus in my book.  Can't wait to see it from the side!

What wait? There is one? (I saw a huge Croc and a Dire Boar today...they said there was a third but I thought it was something un-Cat-like.)

Dag nabbit. Reaper's going to take MORE of my money. The Dance of Death dragon thing coming up is so darn good! Gauth didn't really do it for me. Ma'al (what I see now - wasn't on previous KS's) is amazing... but not my favorite sort of dragon. This? bah hum bug. It is a good thing I don't need many calories, because money goes to dragons instead of foodstuffs.

The Mother of Dragons has really outdone herself this time. Dance of Death is so fan-elfin-tastic. Literally breathtaking.

When I die, they are going to have to bury me with all my Julie Guthrie dragons. Hopefully I will have managed to paint all of them by then.

Terrain

I wanted to write a couple of words about something from the livestream video that is not going to happen. There was a big 6x6 inch [8x8?] plinth that was previously shown as a display base for a giant cobra. It won't appear in B4.

I think this is wise. Because...any scratch terrain builder can whip those out easy-peasy. A novice at terrain building could follow a SBStep and turn one out as their first piece. It would be the simplest thing to try as a first piece.

What would be an excellent idea (for terrain) is to grab the plinths from the Greek statues, the Zombie dragon's big plinth, the dragon turtle's base, maybe Kalydrax's Hill and offer them as a group add-on.

I do realize there could be obstacles to this. Mainly that some of these items are planned to be in a steel two part mold along with whatever goes on top of them.

But maybe now is the time to plan things out so that some of them can be cast separately?

Find out if the new dies to be created can be built with valve kits[?] or parts so that it is possible to cast only the plinths.

What if the digital model of Kaladrax Hill was reduced a little (maybe 75%) and it reappears this time as a stand alone terrain piece (leverage a pre-existing design FTW)??

What if the Greek statue bases were added around the edges, maybe at a second size (meant to fit any 28-30mm figure) plus the original and all that was a Terrain mold?

Just spitballing some ideas. I think some British company is in the business of making highly detailed, incredibly expensive, plastic terrain features. They do manage to sell some. But the business of making highly detailed, reasonably priced, plastic terrain features looks wide open to me.

The things to focus on would be very detailed, **conveniently dimensioned, structures that would be time-consuming for a scratch builder to create.

A big plinth that could be slapped together out of two pieces of blue or pink EPS insulation foam...never mind. Good call going back to the drawing board on that.

Instead Think Arcane Gates that lead to islands on ***The Sea Between the Worlds™ kitted out with steps that **perfectly fit 25-32mm figure bases, with lots of nice detail (friezes, heraldry, arcane runes)...just as a for instance.

***

I totes made up The Sea Between the Worlds™ just now.  But, truth-in-advertising, it is merely a homage to C.S. Lewis' "Wood Between the Worlds©"  from

The Magicians Nephew.

Saw this in a random Facebook add and thought it might be appreciated here. Not going to say that Cat-Word that Reaper has not promised us. :)

Or a polar bear! We don't have any polar bears in Bones.

Or a young remorhaz, but that might not match as well with the dog and cat ::P:

Polar Bear would be cool, Winter Wolf just seemed more traditional.

Though we do have a lot of Large-sized wolves in Bones already.

      About this project

Thank you for taking the time to check out Divinity: Original Sin 2, our biggest and most ambitious RPG to date!
A couple of quick facts about the game:
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is a single- and multiplayer top-down, party-based role-playing game with pen & paper RPG-like levels of freedom. It features turn-based combat, a strong focus on systematic gameplay and a well-grounded narrative. Divinity: Original Sin 2 is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Divinity: Original Sin, winner of over 150 Game of the Year awards and nominations. Winner of GameSpot’s “PC Game of The Year 2014â€. Divinity: Original Sin 2 is currently in development for PC in English. Subtitles will be available in German, French, and Russian. Other platforms and languages may be announced at a later stage, once development is more advanced.
The theme of Divinity: Original Sin 2 is how your origins affect who you are and what chances you get in life.
At the start of the game, you pick a single character and determine your starting stats, race, and origin story.

You'll be able to recruit up to three companions, each of whom is just as detailed as the character you're playing, with their own origin story and motivation to help you in your quest.
This makes it possible for each companion to become a player character in multiplayer mode; every party member is equally important to the whole.

In multiplayer, up to 4 players can play together, either cooperatively or competitively.
During competitive questing, you’ll pursue different plot-lines from other players, often because your personal motivations are in conflict with those of the party.
To loot or not to loot: You'll have to argue, reason, or duke it out.
There's no obligation to compete, of course. Many party members will manage to balance their own interests with those of the party. Should you find yourself in conflict, know that it's always possible to make up afterwards.
The important thing here is that it's you who gets to make that choice.

Do yourself a favour and take a look at what's on offer even if you've not backed one of Stonehavens projects before.
Lots of unique and fun concepts scattered throughout,

Plus they've done things a bit differently and have everything already sculpted and shown.

      Love the cloaked mysterious strangers.

      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2052977442/carnevale-the-miniature-game

Carnevale is a tactical narrative miniatures game set in 1790's Venice. Safe from the effects of the Rent in the Sky that tore Italy in half, Venice is now a hot-spot of magical activity. Strange creatures rise from the canals, the ruling class play violent games with lesser men, and the population of Venice try to survive. All vie for power in the street fights that take place in the dark of the night.

Carnevale is a game that focuses on movement and brutal combat. You're as likely to see two people battling in the streets as you are to see warriors jumping from rooftop to rooftop and drowning their opponents in the canals. Using the tight streets and watery dangers to your advantage will ensure victory, and if it doesn't, some well-timed magic spells might!

Carnevale is a narrative game that sees gamers play through various scenarios with their gangs of fighters. The games skirmishes allow for in depth storytelling, and we have made an effort to streamline rules in order to let the action take place on the tabletop, rather than spending too much time keeping track in the pages of a rulebook. The tactical flexibility opens up when building your gangs how you want, using many varied members to different effect.
