Reaper Bones 4: Enthusiasm and Commentary Thread

Is it too late to join the kickstarter?  I was hoping to do the $15 pledge.  I see the Pledge Manager is shut down as of July 2018.

The Bones IV KS is going to wrap up in a couple months, we hope.  Then maybe they'll announce another KS, and people will have to wait a long time for it to fulfill.  Something like 18 months was expected for this KS.  They allowed people to add to their pledge for about 12 months after the KS fund-raising ended.

Does anyone ever create a checklist for the minis in the core set so that when we go through them we can make sure we have everything?

I created a full checklist for Bones 3 (see link below) but not just the Core Set. If I'm up to it, I may do one for Bones 4. I guess it all depends on if we get a listing, like B3 & again, if I feel like it.

I copied the pics from every set or mini I pledged for.

I will compare every mini I receive to the pics and see if I got everything.

I had no problems with Bones III

With Bones II I only missed one of the Chimera heads and the cape of the Undead Tyrant and I got a new Chimera and a new Tyrant when I mentioned it to Reaper.

In the 3 Bones KS I've backed there was only one problem. My Kaladrax came with 2 of one front leg. It took several tries for them to send me the right leg but I got to keep the wrong pieces they sent. It's been years but I'm still planning on making a little hill with bones coming out of them like how you can sometimes find dinosaur bones.

I have a tab on my tacking sheet (link in signature below) that has the Bones 4 minis in it.

If I put Bones IV into my spreadsheet as the full contents, it is harder to justify other stuff. If I put it in my spreadsheet as just "Bones IV" then is a single entry. No guilt. Right? I'm getting one box. One really big mini.... right?

It really doesn't matter, according to Goblin Math you will just get 20 minis and you will never have  more than 20 minis.

I made a spreadsheet with the models for Bones IV in it.  Feel free to use it if it's helpful.

If it's anything like Bones 3, there'll also be a list of models included with the kickstarter shipment.

If you are making a sheet and/or sharing your sheet, please be aware the 3 digit identification number from the graphic will be key to any customer service resolution.

For example, the Roc is 857

Will the EU boxes travel by boat to their UK fulfillment hub?

How long did that take last time approxiamitely? And will the EU orders be pulled and packaged in the US and will just receive postage over here, or will the EU center get a bunch of containers and pull them themselves?

May I politely request you review the most recent update for the answers to those questions?

Thanks,

I can't quote out of that picture, but the sentence "... will receive pulled orders on pallets and ship the boxes from their location" doesn't say to me if the orders will arrived boxed or if the EU hub will do the boxing. Might be my lack of English.

Also, how long did the boat take last time? I remember a rather long wait between US fulfillment and EU fulfillment, but I might be remembering the lost container with Beagel's stuff, which took quite a bit longer, iirc.

In case I wasn't the only person to miss it:  The new Reaper Live Episode on Youtube (#14, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMTR_Ofm7z4) shows off a number of the Bones 4 pieces.  I got really excited because at 27:50 they pulled out the Portal!  There's definitely enough room to throw a mini through.

Also, @ladystorm, since I thought this was a contradiction to what we already knew, can you confirm what Ron says at 30:25 about the Portal?

Spoiler

30:25: THE PORTAL IS IN TRANSLUCENT PURPLE?!?!

Didn't see a post about this yet:
      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/deadlyprintstudio/battlefx

BattleFX is a bundle comprising of several 3D designs of dynamic effects and destructible terrain for wargames. ready for you to print.
Every item of the bundle has been carefully designed and tested to be 3D printed. this kickstarter includes a STL pack of each pledge, ready to be printed using your own 3D printer - or alternatively, using online 3D printing services.
After working extensively on the movie FX sector, we realized we could apply that experience to our wargamme hobby - and taking things to the next level.
We have been working very hard and have already finished designing and testing every one of the items on our basic pledge, therefore guaranteeing that YOU will get it. However, we want to continue creating and offering you new, epic effects for your wargames - hence the advance stretchgoals!
/*Included in Kaboom Pledge and above*\
It has the widest range from trusters to muzzles flashes and smoky Fx!
S - Muzzles Flashes S - Trusters S - Smoky things!  We are getting more serius here big booms and more complex Fx:
M - Big weapongs, explosion and Sci-fi Fx M - Smoke Shell, lateral atack, Sci-fi barrier and barrels Fx  The Big Boys. It takes some time to print, but it also turns your war gaming table into a real battlefield.
L - Smoke grenade, Orbital atack L - Fire, water and ground explosions  The Kickstarter Star Product, the Epic Fx! Destructible, reassemblable scenography and cool lighting.

      About
"...Aulë made the dwarves strong to endure. Therefore they are stone-hard, stubborn, fast in friendship and in enmity, and they suffer toil and hunger and hurt of body more hardily than all other speaking peoples; and they live long, far beyond the span of Men, yet not forever."
      -J. R. R. Tolkien
Dwarves really are the best! While they're often a bit rough around the edges, they have the best accents, are insatiably loot-hungry, and will fight anything that moves—so we are going to make a bunch more of them!
We've assembled them into adventuring parties to make it easier for us to pack and ship. You can add an additional adventuring party to your base reward for $22. Additional individual dwarves can be added to your base reward for $5 each. For a slightly larger view of the minis, check them out on our blog. Here are the adventuring parties:
From Left to Right: Male Dwarven Brawler, Female Dwarven Bard, Male Dwarven Deathknight, Male Dwarven Druid, Female Dwarven Warrior
The League seeks out the ancient dwarven knowledge hidden deep within the lost caverns. They hope that, in time, civilized dwarves will once again inhabit those hallowed halls.
From Left to Right: Male Dwarven Rogue, Female Dwarven Sheildbreaker, Male Dwarven Battlerager, Male Dwarven Mage, Female Dwarven Archer
Hogg's Tavern is not the sort of place that anyone should visit . . . at least not anyone who values their life or health. Surprisingly, it has regulars. Its patrons are usually adventures past their prime or looking to make a name for themselves.
From Left to Right: Female Dwarven Mechanist, Male Dwarven Automaton, Male Dwarven Gunslinger, Female Dwarven Automage, Male Dwarven Investigator
Not everyone has embraced the "advances" made in the Steam Valley workshops. When the Savages descended on the valley, the Seigebreakers and their constructs helped turn the tide against the invading armies.
From Left to Right: Female Dwarven Vampire Hunter, Male Dwarven Undead Elite, Male Dwarven Necromancer, Female Dwarven Huntsman, Male Dwarven Warlord
The lands beyond Raven's Gate are shrouded in perpetual mists and haunted by the undead. Only the very brave or the very foolish venture there. Why not both?
From Left to Right: Female Dwarven Barbarian, Female Dwarven Berserker, Female Dwarven Wandsmith, Male Dwarven Fighter, Male Dwarven Barbarian
The Iron Hills are not an easy country to grow up in. There's bitter cold winters and orcish armies locked in perpetual combat. That's not even mentioning the greatwolves. No one ever mentions the greatwolves.
Every Stretch Goal we hit will add more dwarves (or dwarf-related miniature items/companions) to the Completionist Set. When we have enough of these for a new adventuring party, a new party will be formed. Here are our stretch goals:
At $7,500 the Female Dwarven Cleric will be unlocked and added to the Dwarves Vol. 2 Completionist Reward. She will also made available as a $5 add-on.
At $10,000 the Male Dwarven Buccaneer will be unlocked and added to the Dwaves Vol. 2 Completionist Reward. He will also be made available as a $5 add-on.
As we hit these stretch goals, more dwarves will be unleashed!

Anyone have any info about the company? How able do you think they can pull off a KS? They've at least been in business for a long time?
