Okay, so... Jack mentioned living dangerously in a recent post.

Over the past few days, Jack has bid on over 100 EvilBay auctions from the same seller, who had a freaking ton of the old Ral Partha Official AD&D minis still in their blister packs...

Out of all of them, Jack won...

Three things.

But hey, they're still in the blister packs, lol.

I won:

The giant rats mentioned above...

11-424 Unicorn...

And the most important one, which I'm frakkin' AMAZED that I won...

Spoiler

11-627 The US.... Yes, ladies and Gentlemen, I have acquired the CRANIUM RAT SWARM from Planescape: Torment!!! :bday::bday::bday:

@Mad Jack Congratulations on your acquisitions!  lots of old memories there.  I always wondered about  those monster 2 packs:  what were they thinking when they made the combination?  I have a couple of the Rashaka/rust monster packs.  I am still trying to figure out how that encounter is supposed to go...

For acqusistions for myself today i got two boxes!  a package from greenstuff world with a bunch of terrain rollers and some other goodies, and a box with GWs Kill Team in it.  There has been a lot of good things said about that game I am curious to see if it holds true.  if not, at least the terrain is prevalent and of good quality.

I have reduced my ED3 wants list from 4 to 2, including acquiring the last original ED3 book. I just have two reprints left, one of which is hilariously selling for $300 on eBay. I can't imagine anyone who would spend $300 on Earthdawn books right now, let alone $300 on a reprint from an earlier edition, especially since ED4 is publishing new material.

Never have seen any in eastern (ie desert side) of Oregon either, thank goodness. Now badgers, that a different story. I got out of work on one of my short nights a few weeks ago & before walking home, I decided to sit down on the outside bench in front of the store. Mainly to play a online game that a timer was up for but also just to sit down before heading home. Anyways, I looked up & across the street I see movement in the shadows. I figured it was a dog or a cat out in the night. It moves into the radius of a street light & it' a freakin badger!! It was walking down the street with little to no care at all. He stopped & looked at me, then went on his merry way. Crazy.

Acquired today:
prepainted minis -

Yuan-ti pureblood (for LVO)

Paizo Promo red orb spider (for We Be Goblins @ ReaperCon, just in case of extra players)

Yesterday:

Noble Knight order:

Druid 5e spell cards

The Army Painter warpaints

Last Sunday (during son's back to school shopping trip over Ideeehooo)

Paladin 5e spell cards

Martial & Racial Powers 5e cards

Army Painter warpaints

Bottle of Pink Soap: Mine was old enough to vote!! So I remembered & took advantage of Micheal's 40% off coupon.

Game Kastle order (should be here tomorrow as I had a 5 dollar coupon code, so I upgraded shipping to priority)

This should be my last mail order before RCon.

Pathfinder Legacy of Fire item cards (for RCon games, I'm running)

Spellcrow female gnome

Female-Gnome-with-Spear-and-Owl.jpg?bw=2

Reaper HD paint: Elfin Flesh & Rich Indigo

Bombshell sidekicks: Buckshot the Jackalope

BOM60014.jpg

Mainly the order was for the item cards but I didn't feel like buying 1 thing. I thought about Paizo as it was only 4 bucks, but my last order with them (for item cards) took way longer then it should have. So they are back on my don't order from them unless I really need or want to list. Besides GK had the cards for like 87 cents more, I think I can afford that!!

The Song of Blades website has a sale code SUMMER2018 for 20% off and free shipping on mats. The 6'x4' grassland map is rather tempting...

Not sure why this was $10, but getting it at 90% off is nice.

20180815_201710.thumb.jpg.ddc4cdbbeeae5c3523859fd97669b623.jpg

And then some pick ups from the thrift store. $4 zelda cup

20180815_175343.thumb.jpg.b750cada7546d7dd134697f2dd55c5bb.jpg

$4 Bag of random dinosaurs. Going to check the sizes of the Saurians that reaper are making and see if I can convert some of the chronoscope marines or something to have dinosaur heads.

You neglected to turn it purple! ::D:

I hate that you're probably right because since posting my last post...

A Facebook friend threw a whoooooooooooooole lotta TSR miniatures from D&D and their other self-published minis lines for help identifying and while I was identifying I was like... "I sure wouldn't mind all the D&D stuff even the broken ones".

And then that same friend posted an auction for some Marvel figurines including some fantasy-worthy Handful Of Heroes and I've been bidding on that too.

EDIT: I won the Handful Of Heroes.

My brain is interpreting that as a blast of dinosaurs shooting up out of a geyser.

@Jasper_the_2ndFigmentius is about collecting, miniatures and or paint, so you're cool!

I suffer from the same illness...I also have almost as mainy paints as miniatures.

It is nice to be able to choose though!

There is your problem,  you're supposed to work with the postperson to ensure that they don't bring all the boxes at the same time.  then its just the occasional package that gets forgotten... unless it all came in one box, then your postperson probably wanted to hit you with said box!

Like I needed more Dwarven Forge stuff after the orgy that was the latest kickstarter, but the rooftops were available on the website again and I use the village regularly every Christmas as my Christmas town display (wonder if DF will eventually do pine trees so we can do "Dreadhollow:  the winter wonderland of death" between the village and the couple of big resin pieces I have for churches and taverns, and the large GW keep complete with towers and gatehouse, its quite the display at this point.  I also got some lighted walls and some ruin pieces so that when dreadhollow finally shows up I can do the ruined cottage in the woods (that's me! always thinking ahead!)
