This is intriguing to me. Pics?

Here are the ones that I got, duplicates of the two drawer and open one. I plan on doing three across and two high of the small ones with the showcase at the end. The bottle module will go on top next to a couple of reverse eye dropper racks from Impudent Mortal that I plan to get in a month or two.

I went with these because I like the style and options they have. If you search for them, make sure to look for HobbyZone USA as they are from Poland but have a US based shipping center as well. They maybe out of stock more often and not have some of the newer releases but you will save a ton on shipping.

Here is an example from their Facebook page of someone’s setup. It really shows what you can do.

Thanks!

That looks wonderful and would go well with the color scheme of my hobby room. I might have to look into pricing it out for a future purchase.

You’re welcome! I wish I had a hobby room, would have gotten more if I did. I will try to remember to follow up once I receive them and get them built.

Our office holds multiple purposes. One of which is hobby stuff. I am blessed to have a permanent paint area.

I've got 3 of the 54 count 26mm racks that they make. They aren't part of the setup that SGHawkins09 showed but they are made pretty much the same material.

Example:

They also make corner racks as well.

A small packet of Oathsworn Burrows and Badgers figures was waiting for me upon my return this evening. I especially felt like I wanted a badger because of the name of the game. ::D:

The rest are to fill in a few tactical gaps left after buying in to the last couple of Kickstarters. (Also, I’ve painted a lot of historical landsknechts, so the otter and mouse landsknechts were irresistable...)

@SamuraiJack her bust seems at risk of some chafing! :poke: Lovely sculpt there. I am really curious about the point at which a bust is less a bust, and more of an amputee though.

It helps if you think of her as wearing full-length winter underwear instead. ::P:

Historically a chainmail shirt would be worn over a padded cloth garment and possible a leather garment as well.

The padding prevents chaffing and helps to spread the force of a blow and leather just adds additional spread to any blow as well as providing an additional layer against penetrating weapons such as daggers and arrows.

In the SCA I used to wear two heavy sweat shirts as padding, a layer of heavy leather [very heavy boot soling circa 2 cm] and a chainmail shirt over all.  This was equivalent to what this figure represents, without all the form fitting bits.

The level of protection provided was just short of what field plate would provide, and the chain mail looks so nice as an outer covering, with or without a tabbard over all.

Reminds me of the old joke about why do men like women to wear leather? Because she smells like a new truck!

Arrived today, just before my first one runs out.

new_cctree.thumb.jpg.69b4b5324009eb3a873d506da924f5b5.jpg

As the MAV3RICK KS is supposed to be sending out the first batch of files sometime this week, I expect much of this will get turned into 28mm modular tank parts, at least what doesn't get turned into CAV terrain first...
