Guindyloo is on a quest to complete the D20 Random Rainbow Dragon Challenge

Recommended Posts

So here's the thread for the rules:

I picked Stormwing. And here were my rolls:

I will also be attempting the 3 Star Challenge version, so I will have my colour palette limited to my 3 rolled paints, plus black and white.

I did a quick once over of the mold lines and then glued most of him together and threw some green stuff into the gaps.

You're also allowed to prime with Brown Liner, so I'll be doing that next.

There's no time limit and I can use any size brush I like, which will be a refreshing change for me.

Goal is amusing fun, not stress! Prime as you please!

Best of skills! You got some cool colors to play with!

I'm detecting a lot of Marine Teal in these challenges!  Good luck... should be fun!

Honestly I'm a little bit disappointed in my colour roll. I would've liked more of a challenge with zanier colours.

You could make patterns, stripes/spots/leopard like twotoned spots/swirls/lightning patterns...

Make it interesting.

Maybe ghostly faces in the second colour on the wing membranes in the first colour etc etc...

They go TOO well together. It's fine, I just would've preferred to get some hideous combination that I would've had to really work to make look good.

Now there's an idea I could get behind.... hmmmm......

I like that better luck would be worse colours!

If I had your colours, I'd totally go for painting Bryagh.

How do we determine what colors are worse? The choices seemed normal enough. ^__^

I think that is Guindyloo's problem with the colors - Guindyloo wanted some more...interesting colors. In which case, a normal pallet would be worse.

Anyway, I can't wait to see this dragonnnn. I love the blues.

Oh, I meant all 20 choices seemed normal and could pair off accordingly.

Like we don't see neon yellow or alien goo green or some other drastic bright/dull hue.

Have fun guindyloo!

Good luck!   I think I lucked out with my colors, they go together fairly well.  I'm sure you're thrilled that there's no time limit,  I know I am!
