Awesome!

I love how you played with the light and dark.

Her colours are amazing.

That is a WONDERFUL narrative creation. Your brushwork & subtle colors are as BEAUTIFUL as ever. The base is a SUPERBLY crafted, CINEMATIC treasure in its own right. OUTSTANDINGLY WELL DONE!

Nice work.  I like the contrast of darkness and light. Great job on the diorama.  One could also make the case of her shifting from a cartoony darkness of ink to reality.  I really like the effect!

so, I'm scrolling down the photos, and thinking, "ok, I like this, and the shadows are really nice, but it isn't the kind of /exciting/ I usually see when Corpor--WHOA!"

There's a /cave/ back there! In freakin' MONOCHROME! That is awesome. Totally awesome.

Get the whoa factor, but one thing is a bit off.  On the dagger in her right hand (and maybe the sword to a lesser degree), the NMM looks...off.  Can't quite put my finger on it, but it seems too abrupt, or something.

Other than that, fantastic!

hah! you read my mind.  I messed with the face and the weapons after I took these.  I may put up the revised images just to check but I think I can fix it. every time I set something aside for a while and then come back to it I see things I can fix.  If I had infinite time everything would be better!! ahhhhh! :)

So when my PC found a magic torch, of course I had to have a new miniature for her.  This was for the same character I posted as Hosilla earlier.   Hosilla converted to archer.  She eventually came to a bad end... as I will show you shortly.

This is the lovely miniature I received from Pineapple for the Summer exchange.   It is a bit late but Pineapple had to start over when parts off the first mini were pilfered and lost.  This is the second one and I must say the wait was well worth it!

The basing is well done with a scratch built stone wall to frame the Troll Champion.  The skin tones, although unexpected is just perfect for the mini and the touch of Orange I usually request appear in the hair/horns and finger/toe nails!  The combination is perfect!

Without further preamble here are what you all want to see... The Pictures!

I am adding this to my display cabinet as I post this!

      Thanks Pineapple

I really liked painting these two!!
2 hand-painted miniatures:   2 Large Spider miniatures from the Pathfinder "Deep Cuts" line. Both near identical, roughly 2" long, with redback spider markings.  Bases were left white, with added stones and static grass. Eyes are given "'Ardcoat" to give glossy, wet effect. "Nargol Rot" was applied on  fangs to create a toxic look.

This was my entry in the Miniature Monthly End of Year Competition. It is a beautiful sculpt that was fun to paint. I had to do a desert theme due to playing Assassin’s Creed Origins inbetween painting sessions and I couldn’t get the light brown with blue color scheme out of my head. I am really happy with her skin although her left thigh looks really flat in the photo.

      Any feedback would be appreciated.
