Doctor Who counts as supernatural suspense? I thought it was mostly Moffat spewing whatever annoying fluff he had onto a screen and drowning otherwise good characters.  (I like most of the Dr Who characters, and the concept - can't stand Moffat so I stopped watching).

There's more Doctor Who than the Moffat era.

Mmmm...does Moonlight count? (I still wish that one hadn't got cancelled)

You people, making me remember things such as Moonlight and Being Human (UK) that I wanted so much more of.

Question for Wednesday October 11th:

Night Gallery, Goosebumps, Kolchak the Night Stalker, The Real Ghostbusters, Supernatural, and so many more TV shows have explored horror on the small screen. What's your favorite? What was your least favorite? Why?

I was always partial to 'Tales from the Dark Side" as a kid.

I also like Twilight Zone, Outer Limits and Black Mirror.

There is indeed, but that's the part I've seen. To catch up with the rest is a heck of a time sink, and I have a lot of those already. :poke:

Being Human (UK) was awesome! I don't know how I forgot about it (maybe because there isn't enough of it).

And the last season was bloody awful, when the vampire lead left to become a hunky dwarf in The Hobbit movies.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one unhappy with the final season.

Very few shows are horror, but in order to do it right, there has to be a contrast with it. Doctor Who is a prime example of that. It's funny and goofy, and just silly. But when it becomes terrifying, it gets you all the more. It makes you.........just not want to blink.

I'm not really a horror fan although I like supernatural and suspense elements. Supernatural was probably my favourite at least the first few seasons. I gave up watching it quite a while ago so don't now how the newer seasons are.

I think I need to do a new one of these. She helped me come off my long hiatus and I'm back in the groove now.
