Nice.  Are you using a metal washer as the base?

If it is do you find that working well for you?  I picked up a crap tone of 1" 1.5" and 2" Dia by 1/8 thick wood bases from hobby stores and I think they work fine.  Guess I am just wondering if the added weight of the steel is worth it over the better finish you get from a wood or plastic base.

Nope, those are plastic bases that come with wiz kids figures.

Great work!  I especially like how much character the sideways look you gave her adds!

Thanks! I like it too, the sideways look. It was part out necessity though. Her far eye is partially obscured by hair, so no eye looked odd and a centered well formed eye beyond my skill. So she's either cross eyed or looking to the side lol.

really nice job with flipper.  (she's part seal, it shows up in the hand...)  Good clean lines and a nice aesthetic.  Keep up the good work!

Thanks!  Getting the right brush and learning the right amount of paint to load helped so much on my lines.  Too little paint was causing scratchy lines.
