I started painting Dagon a few days ago. He's very much still in the beginning stages. All my paints are MSP unless otherwise specified. Here's what I've done so far: Washed and blue liner-ed and started a base coat of Marine Teal. Then a little more work on the fins with Twilight Purple, Gem Purple, and Amethyst Purple but they have a long way to go still.

I decided I don't like the blue on the spine. I'll go searching for something a bit darker and see how that turns out. I want to bring the highlights up pretty bright but don't think that this blue would work for what I'm going for.

possibly go for a slime or alien green. This could represent the luminescence of the creature showing.

I was thinking the same thing.

More of a yellowish lightgreen

I've got Pale Green which might work. I just need to undo the playing around with it that I did yesterday that made it weird. I really don't want to have to throw them in some Simple Green.

Here's my final batch of new painted figures.
Bones Giant Centipedes.  A staple encounter for low-level adventurers.
Still inspired by Reign of Winter.  Sadly, Mr. Red got into the snow of Mr. Blue's base!
      Enjoy.

Here are some classic vermin for your viewing pleasure.
Still going along with the Reign of Winter theme, I wanted one wintry option.
The red one shading/blending got really washed out in the picture.  The recesses are splattered crimson, so much darker than this looks.
      Boy, are these eyes tiny!

Also to go along with our Reign of Winter campaign.
This is the BONES Winter Wolf.
I had the most fun with the eyes.
Some of the pics came out a little dark, despite 3 lights.
It must be a camera thing...

Whipped this Ghost King up while I was taking a break from writing up an adventure.  Blue is my favorite color, and I decided to dive in head first with all of my different blue paints.  This is the first time I have tried adding high lights on the cloaks, and I think it made a huge difference.  Critiques and advice welcome as always, especially advice on high lights.  Thanks in advance!

I painted this guy a while ago, and as soon as it was previewed in the Kickstarter, I was reminded of Slade from the old Teen Titans cartoon. His design worked really well as a basis for the paint scheme here.

The pictures were taken on the painting table, as I never really got around to taking some in the photo booth, unfortunately.
