Might have to shelve this until after next month. I'll do as much as I can over the weekend but the next couple of months are going to be crazy busy. Luckily I've written everything down so far so it shouldn't be hard to pick it back up later.

I picked his one up out of the KS & I seen this off of your signature & just wanted to say love the colors you've chosen so far on this one. I can't wait to see more.

Thanks! I should be picking this back up in the next few weeks.

I picked this back up yesterday. No progress to show as I had to totally rework my notes on the colors I used/was going to use. Past me wrote to use purple in one spot, I mean really me which purple?

Cleaned up around the fallen statue and painted the other pillar/statue(?) the same as the fallen one. I've not got much left to do on Dagon himself. I'm trying to decide on what color to make his what I'm going to call whiskers for lack of a better word. I don't know if I want to go purple or if I want to make them the bright green that I've made other spots on it to make them look lure like even though he already has a lure...I'm not sure yet. Off to the drawing board.

Will get some more pictures of of things dry fitted together when I get home today. I will also hopefully, if it isn't too late, maybe finish him today. If not today then tomorrow.

Okay, I need input for the eyes. I have 5 options currently:

1.) Leave them alone.

2.) Add black pupils to the bright green areas.

3.) Add pupils to one set of the three eyes. And which eye?

4.) Just put in reflective spots and call them done.

5.) Something else?

I'd go with black pupils on all of the eyes. They don't necessarily need to be round pupils.

Finished the bases for these two 'statues'. I picked a more sombre kind of theme, almost winter or fall, as I thought it looked better with these than a bright, summer theme.

Here's my take on this cute little guy. I tried to do more glazes on him than the way I normally paint, and his eyes are violet, which I think came out ok. Wishing I'd been able to get the huge mold line off his head but oh well. He's still adorbs.

I hadn't even realized when I began on these three that they were all from the "Castle Stoneskull" expansion from Bones III.  It was a great set for adding to the random encounters for an RPG.

These guys may represent some of the high-level dangers that one could encounter while dungeoneering in Castle Stoneskull!

The Behir.  I've been wanting one since a buddy pulled one from the first Huge set of D&D prepaints.  They even show up in Pathfinder's "Reign of Winter" and D&D 5E's "Storm King's Thunder", if only I had had this guy in time for those campaigns!

Brain-in-a-Jar.  While I was hoping this would be a human brain, it's still a really cool design.  I wonder why the legs are traditional bendy bones instead of the hard plastic that makes up the rest of the mini (minus the squishy brain), though.

The mighty Minotaur!  Bones has a lot of representations for Minotaurs now, almost as many as Orcs or Goblins.  There's the one from pre-Kickstarter, 2 adventurers in Bones II, and the whole set of Minitaurs coming in Bones IV!  Plus all the Beastmen if you want to count them, I've seen them used as medium Minotaur PCs enough times.

This guy is my favorite, though.  Must be the Gladiator armor.

Here's my final batch of new painted figures.
Bones Giant Centipedes.  A staple encounter for low-level adventurers.
Still inspired by Reign of Winter.  Sadly, Mr. Red got into the snow of Mr. Blue's base!
      Enjoy.

Here are some classic vermin for your viewing pleasure.
Still going along with the Reign of Winter theme, I wanted one wintry option.
The red one shading/blending got really washed out in the picture.  The recesses are splattered crimson, so much darker than this looks.
      Boy, are these eyes tiny!
