Are you trying to get the eyes to look creepy? The eyes seem to me like they should be creepy. I can't decide whats creepier black pupil silts or white reflections.

I like the color choices you made for him. Tropical but scary.

I'd go with black pupils on all of the eyes. They don't necessarily need to be round pupils.

First knee-jerk reaction is a viper eye slit in bright yellow. Not sure that helps.

I would combine these and put narrow vertical slit pupils in all the eyes (slit pupils are subtly football-shaped, pointed at the ends and thickest in the middle).

If you want it to look really horrifyingly alien, put horizontal barbell-shaped pupils in.

Yes, definitely trying to make it creepy.

I like this. Thanks!

ETA: most likely going to add a reflective spot to the two big eyes, still mulling that over.

Yeah, liking how those eyes turned out. I really liked Pezler's suggestion of white eyes too. Those are down right creepy. Wonder if I have anything I could put those eyes on?

I also liked Pezler's idea, I was actually looking at deep sea fish this morning trying to decide what to do. Ultimately I wanted to keep them that creepy green though and thought the white would cancel that out. Which was why one of my options was to leave them alone but the more I looked at it and the more ideas y'all suggested I decided it needed pupils.

I understand completely why you went the way you did. The creepy green works good. It might be tough to get the white to turn out well especially on big eyes like those.

Here's my final batch of new painted figures.
Bones Giant Centipedes.  A staple encounter for low-level adventurers.
Still inspired by Reign of Winter.  Sadly, Mr. Red got into the snow of Mr. Blue's base!
      Enjoy.

Here are some classic vermin for your viewing pleasure.
Still going along with the Reign of Winter theme, I wanted one wintry option.
The red one shading/blending got really washed out in the picture.  The recesses are splattered crimson, so much darker than this looks.
      Boy, are these eyes tiny!

Also to go along with our Reign of Winter campaign.
This is the BONES Winter Wolf.
I had the most fun with the eyes.
Some of the pics came out a little dark, despite 3 lights.
It must be a camera thing...

Whipped this Ghost King up while I was taking a break from writing up an adventure.  Blue is my favorite color, and I decided to dive in head first with all of my different blue paints.  This is the first time I have tried adding high lights on the cloaks, and I think it made a huge difference.  Critiques and advice welcome as always, especially advice on high lights.  Thanks in advance!

I painted this guy a while ago, and as soon as it was previewed in the Kickstarter, I was reminded of Slade from the old Teen Titans cartoon. His design worked really well as a basis for the paint scheme here.

The pictures were taken on the painting table, as I never really got around to taking some in the photo booth, unfortunately.
