About this project

What is Von Unaussprechlichen Kulten?

Von Unaussprechlichen Kulten (…or Kulten…or VUK for short) is an horrific, violent and often disturbingly amusing cult battle and management game in which players create cults and clash amongst each other for the favour of their gods; ancient, evil and tenebrous though they may be…

331eeebdeabfba228ec06469ab01fd2f_origina

Players may choose between six different cults:

- Arcane Seekers

- Cult De Ghouls

- Dagonites

- Death Cult

- Dunwich Folk

- Serpent Worshippers

Each game of Kulten plays in 30-60 minutes and requires 3-10 models per cult. The option-filled advancement system is fraught with mind and body snapping injuries, madness and other perils as well as shocking dark rewards!

Will you and your twisted brethren reign as the supreme cult? Can you beg, borrow and kill enough to support your deviant flock? What colours should your cult robes be? All important questions that will be answered when you play Von Unaussprechlichen Kulten!

The Rulebook

The game itself has been around for many years, being the game of the official fan club of Strange Aeons (The Cult of the Black Goat!). If that sentence made no sense, don’t worry. Just know that we have done all this before. This will be our seventh book and our second game.

The rulebook itself will see a massive overhaul, adding many new and bizarre rules and scenarios as well as freshly updated profiles, bringing it in line with Strange Aeons Second Edition (both share the same universe and rule framework).

We here at Uncle Mikes Worldwide are quite excited as VUK is a favorite of staff and hardcore fans alike. While Von Unaussprechlichen Kulten may have been around a while it has never seen physical print, thanks to you this Kickstarter will change that. However, it will only be a one-time print run…after all this is our cult cult game.

The Miniatures

Uncle Mikes Worldwide has been making unpainted, resin, 32mm miniatures for over ten years now and as you may have guessed we have more on offer here. Sculpted by your fellow humans including Kyla Richards, Iain Colwell and the nefarious Bob Murch.

As well as our usual resin, many of the models created for VUK will have additional metal parts making for greater customizability of your individual cult and ensuring the models for Kulten are the greatest that we have ever produced!

Even now the fires from the forges and smoke from the braziers can be seen dimly as the slumbering staff awaken and resume work through the nights…

Rewards and Add-Ons

All those who dare to pledge at the $20 Pensive Acolyte level and above shall receive the Von Unaussprechlichen Kulten rulebook in PDF form, delivered via dark sorcery (or the internet). Above $50, and you'll also receive a physical copy to clutch in your trembling hands.

But what of miniatures, with which to play this devilish game? Higher pledge levels include a set value of miniatures (and sweet discounts for the truly devoted) which you'll pick out yourself once the campaign is over. Or, simply increase your pledge by the dollar value of whatever goodies you wish to procure.

Depicted below are the fiendish collections of miniatures we have on offer. More dark rewards will be unleashed as the campaign progresses, so keep your eyes wide...

If you like unsettling rubberiness and are a fan of clandestine midnight corpse feasts, then this cult is for you! Behold the imposing Ghoul King and his twisted ilk, their ranks bolstered by ever hungry swarms of graveyard vermin. This is our first time using both resin and metal components and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

Ghouls sculpted by Bob Murch, based on the artwork of Nick Gucker, Rats sculpted by Kyla Richards, based on actual rats. These figures are produced in resin with an assortment of metal parts for endless customization. Don’t endure the pain of being without: Ghoul King, 4 Ghouls, 6 Rat Swarms and 12 arms including open right and left hand, holding shotgun, torch, cleaver and bow.

What happens in the cemetery stays in the cemetery…especially if you have the witnesses for supper. Get up to no good in the worst possible ways when you add these debauched scumbags to your Cult de Ghouls.

Ghouls sculpted by Bob Murch, based on the artwork of Nick Gucker. Witch, rats, familiars and cauldron sculpted by Kyla Richards. These figures are produced in resin with an assortment of metal parts for endless customization. Mobs of poorly trained fodder dying horrifically for my amusement is very high on my personal gaming preference scale.

Flavor seems kind of like Mordheim, as staged in a literal graveyard...

Received.  Got the rulebook and the generic cultists.  The book is full color and larger than I was expecting (most of it is for the various cults) and definitely gets style points for all the artwork.  The cultists are pretty basic sculpts, but have a lot of character.  Really cool product overall.

This is an unusual looking concept:

It's a modestly priced deck building card game (€9) that has an optional dragon which costs €18 by itself. Combined it is €25 (with a few €22 early birds left).

It's a really interesting looking dragon.

Skirmish game and miniatures for a post apocalyptic world.

Mini selection is a little confusing and I’m unsure if individual minis can be ordered separately... but I’m pretty sure I saw Dastardly and Muttley in there along with Penelope Pitstop, so this has my attention.

Plus giant mutant ants and scorpions. Damn dirty apes on horseback. Motorcycle gangs and a cast of dozens.

      About
      Hi everyone.

Welcome to our 2nd project. The Meatwalker 28mm scale creature and rider.

This miniature was sculpted by Johan Tieldow and has been master cast by Lancaster Castings in resin. It will also be cast in metal by Macrocosm Miniatures.

We are looking to get £250 to put this into full production. Its a big miniature and has so much character to it.
Meat Walker Painted By David Stafford  We are offering this miniature in High quality resin and metal (see reward levels).

Supplied with a 50mm round base (as seen in the pictures).

It is a multipart miniature and requires assembly and painting (and pinning for the metal version).

Suitable for a variety of different wargames and table top roleplay games, this would look great on the battlefield or in a dungeon somewhere.

If we hit our funding for the production moulding of these we will look at getting some alternate heads, arms and riders made. This would delay the fulfilment on these alternative versions only.
Alternate Sculpt Ideas  And we feel a dwarf alternative for the pilot would be a good option too.
      Alternate Driver Goals!
£1500 - More Options! 2 more versions will become available with alternative goblin pilots and troll arms. These will become options for you to add to your pledge.

£2000 - Dwarven Pilots! We will do a set of 3 Dwarven Pilots for you to add to your collection. You will be able to order the pilot individually to replace the Goblin Pilot.

      Add Ons (extra Trolls!)

If you would like more than one Troll and rider then you can get 2 for £40.
Or 3 for £50. Postage is free for the additional sculpts. For metal extras see the reward level.
If we unlock extra parts we will give you the option of which trolls to choose.

      About
      The Nomad Caravan.
Welcome to the latest Blind Beggar Miniatures Kickstarter campaign: The Nomad Caravan.
This campaign will, if successful, see the production of a 28mm heroic scale Nomad Caravan cast in white metal, representing either a Merchant and his attendants and guards or a travelling Nomad family during migration.
The master castings for this have already been made, this campaign is purely to fund the production moulding of the Nomad Caravan as a set.
When the Caravan goes into production it will consist of eight miniatures representing the Nomad group and their accompanying pack animals, but during this campaign there will be an additional miniature added to the group who will not be part of the production pack as that particular miniature will eventually be joining a different set entirely.
The eight figures that will be going into the production mould as part of the Caravan set...
The extra miniature (previously part of the 'Bounty Hunters' set) who will added to The Caravan for the duration of this campaign as a FREE bonus miniature...
       ..
       Expand the Caravan...
There are a few Packs in the Blind Beggar range that would work well in conjunction with the Nomad Caravan.
Take a look at the optional Packs below and see if you wish to increase the size of your Nomad Caravan.
If anything takes your fancy, just work out how many extra Packs that you want to add to your Caravan and select the appropriate Pledge Level on the right
There will be a space on the survey when it is sent out to let me know what you have added for.
For enlarging the Pack Train Expand with an extra merchant. Just add loads to the Porters. They make excellent Pilgrims. The original Noif Herder and his Dogs Barnacle Ben.
There are only a small number of castings of Barnacle Ben, the Scaled Warrior, available at the moment so I have created a Pledge Level with limited numbers where he is also available to be added as he makes a great Caravan guard for the larger caravans that can afford to employ him!
      The ultimate Caravan Guard!
