Heroines in Sensible Shoes 3

I got mine too, and they are so gorgeous. My sister already stole the SS1 bard to be her current character, since she had a hard time finding a bard mini with that hair style

The good news is I got my minis yesterday.

Slipped into the post office shortly before they closed (so the post trucks had time to return there) and asked for my package. Got scolded because "the note says next business day after 10!" but she had it right under the counter.

The joys of the postal services seem to be an international experience.

The miniatures do look great! Can't wait to paint some of them, even though I got like twenty other projects.

Is that hair on the back of Dragonborn's head?

My local post office guy likes it when I show up ten minutes before close, because it means shelf space for tomorrow...  Although I get most things delivered directly to the post office now, as it's easier that way (aka get notice in email, then head over after work and pick it up on the way home)

Got my figures!  *does happy dance*

These are the first Oathsworn minis I've gotten, and I have to say, the pictures don't do the figures justice, especially the Firbolg. That one is all kinds of awesome. Same with the Tabaxi. I wish I had pledged for more. Won't be making that mistake again.

Yes.  My packet arrived last week; I'm looking at the tiefling mage as the first piece to try. (And the resin, most likely....)

Your penance for such a sin is to buy the rest of the set(and the previous HISS and B&B minis ) at RETAIL price.

Mine are in and am tweeting them as I finish them. Good stuff and I suspect a lot of people who want heroic '25mm' would be happy with them.

Got mine on Saturday. Taking the Cat-people to AL on Wednesday to show off. Got a friend playing a tabaxi rogue/Sorcerer. Gonna see which she wants painted up for her PC. As for the others, i plan to paint the two Tieflings and the Dragonborn first. But gotta finish a project first.

Got a package with a new brush storage box from England today...

I probably should check out the packing soon as it feels a bit heavier than bubble-wrap and packing peanuts should weigh...

Oh that Werner, he's done it again! Let me introduce you to Vanja, the Fire Giant Queen - original size. She's a great size for an Ogre and as a Player Character. Bones once again! Great level of detail allows so much to be done to bring life to the face. Her armor reminds me of my SCA rig.

Autumn hue, same palette as the Huge variation posted earlier. Underpainting/sketching used before paint. Plus! Pushed contrast. (Something a little bird taught me.)

      Gonna paint another.

      Enjoy.

For your viewing pleasure is Vanja, the Fire Giant Queen - without that hot, itchy cloak. The spot for her cloak was filled in and sculpted with Green Stuff to match her muscular anatomy.

Bones, Basil! Bones! I am continually impressed with the Bones medium. High detail, resilient, and inexpensive. She is going into my Orcs and Goblins Oldhammer Army.

      Enjoy.

So in between crises at work and preparing to move, I did finish off one little Burrows and Badgers mouse one day at lunch. It took me the rest of the week to get him based...

So this is a weird one. I know exactly where I got this figure. It's a Hasslefree sci-fi miniature female space dwarf sort of, I dunno, mercenary or something.

      ... I'm pretty sure. It's possible I am misremembering.

Unfortunately, I've mislaid the packaging and Hasslefree has a tendency to remove temporarily out-of-stock figures from its catalogue and this one currently is not in it.

Does anyone know her SKU and name?

(She's the one on the right. The one on the left I already know is Hasslefree's "HFG405 Pilot Hayden," another space dwarf.

      About this project
      What is this thing??
Tabletop RPGs have many bits and pieces. And there isn't a good way to hold everything in one place that is good looking, convenient, and has an active role in the gameplay, right? WRONG!
      It's the Adventurer's Kit.
Question: So what does it do exactly?
Better Question: What does it NOT do?
The Adventurer's Kit comes with a:
Favorite dice section Space for more dice More space for dice (or anything you like to put there. Do what you want. I'm a gamer not a cop.) Place for pens and pencils Pencil sharpener  Modular miniature box (informational gif below) Phone charger Brackets for a phone or tablet Card section for spell cards or flash cards Large rolling tray Clipboard for your character sheet Brackets for the character sheet clipboard and/or book Space to transport books to your gaming location It allows for gaming in a unique location (forest, renaissance faire, etc.)   If you've ever lost dice or minis or crimped the corners of your otherwise pristine character sheet then you want to look at The Adventurer's Kit. This well organized case contains space for everything. Lets take a look at some examples of it's versatility.
