Seeing as I don't observe Lent I think I am safe. I'll have your share of the bacon if you wish.

Thanks for the offer.

What this means in practical application is that there is more bacon available for consumption on Thursday, Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday while we are in Lent.

Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays its Fissshh my precious.

Since we like fish this is not a burden, just need to keep it in mind when doing menu planning.

Oh corporate bureaucracy! You so cra-cra! Second shipment of a vendor’s system was worrying the supplier, so they asked me to work a later delivery. Our buyer says he can’t do that... because both units have already been delivered. Uh huh. Ya don’t say.

I suppose it’s a case where the paperwork is defining reality now. Think I’ll just have that expensive magical already-delivered system just show up at my desk in the new future.

Welcome to the Matrix.

You just need to switch repertoire.

repeat after me...

I saw that and started singing.

[In my sound deadened office and alone - I can only carry a tune in a bucket.]

*sigh* I might need a new laptop. Mine has started making this awful grinding noise off and on. I found a new one for slightly more than what we were going to spend on Bones with our tax return buuut that might now happen now. <_<

Its probably the fan warning you that it's about to stop functioning.

That's one of the few items on a laptop that are actually repairable through a remove and replace of the failing fan unit.

It's been having other issues too. And it's like 5-ish years old now so it's time. Just ordered the new one, it will be here Monday.

Studying proceeds apace. Doing the 25 minutes on 5-10 off thing works really well for me.

Need to figure out what minis I want to work on next. I should probably paint up a dwarf for me Wednesday night 5e game. Hmm...

Isn't Autocorrupt one of the most annoying pieces of software ever?

Personally I turn it off whenever possible.

A little something for all the Lady Pirates:

Caught up again.

I've been preparing for an Exalted campaign, which involves a bunch of reading (most of which will turn out to be pointless but, hey, it's something).  I haven't painted recently.  I should fix that.  Maybe there'll be time tomorrow night.  I have to work tonight.

I played an NPC based on Pirate Jenny in an Airship Pirates game.

I was the big bad.

The Nina Simone version is awesome!

What kind of dwarf, the stabby/smashy kind, or a finger waggler?

ETA-having been reminded of the GWAR miniatures ( I knew they were a thing, but don't own any of 'em...) I now want to create a miniature heavy metal band.

Only question is wolf-dragon, where it's features are more resembling that of a werewolf with strategically placed scales...  Or a wolf-dragon, where its a more like a dragon, but with werewolf/wolf stuff added on...

Oh wait, didn't Road to El  Dorado have like the perfect meme for this?  Both? Both.  Both will suffice.
