What is the food that you associate with your grandmother?  My grandmother cooked many foods that I associate with her but the main one was tomato gravy.  She and my Great Aunt both made an amazing tomato gravy that I have not had since their passing.

I've heard of it, but can't say I've ever had it.

Actually my grandmother was a bad cook.

So how not to reduce a steak to charcoal is what I learned from this.

My mother was a great cook, and I sincerely miss her spicey tomato soup with indonesian chicken.

I didn't get the recipe before she passed away...

Both of you didn't ask a question.

PUNISHMENT:

Seek out a dog and give it a belly rub.

Don't stop till the dog thinks you're done..

I'm just making a statement here, so I too have to go bellyrub my dog.  The consequences are worth it!  How does that feel!

That was a question, wasn't it.  Curses.

It was! Two actually...

And it felt good to see how the leader of R.I.B.B.I.T. fell into his own trap here..

Which version do you prefer?

Simon and Garfunkle...

or Disturbed?

Note: I like them both.

Both are good, I prefer Disturbed in this case.

Do you think there are any current groups that have the staying power that the classics have? Anyone who stands out as good as Led Zepplin, Motorhead, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Beatles... whose music will cross generations?

Hmmm good one!

Right now I might go for Opeth who started as Death Metal and are now Prog Rock. But I'm not sure if their audience is large enough for that.

Of course they're already older and not something from the last few years.
