I want to see how you're going to get the eggs! She is probably thinking that "Glitter" is much like sprinkles so for breakfast, she will have wolf donuts!

Fantastic work on her!!

I like how you've been doing your dragons based on real life reptiles, it leads to some very interesting paint schemes.

Another prime specimen of the majestic race comes to life! Her base is especially a winner. She must have come here to hatch since that hoard is nowhere near enough to be slept on.. Aah.. the sacrifices mothers make.. ^_^

You stole the words from my fingertips ::):.

I really like that look, I feel inspired to try a real life reptile look when I finally paint one of my dragons...

This is superb.  I'm working on the dracolisk at the moment and I'm going to have to back and revisit it after seeing all these awesome ideas in the last few days.

So cool!  I love the pattern of orange and tan spots under the brown spots.  Like other people have said, basing the color scheme on actual reptiles really gives her an awesome and truly realistic look.  I'm afraid that I'll now encounter her here in the deserts of Arizona!

So I'm currently in the stages of prepping Marthrangul for a contest. I'm also painting the Frost Giant Queen as a backup entry. So once I get started of love all the C&C I can get. I have a little less than a month to do him in.

I finished the Obsidian Crypt from the Bones 3 kickstarter. I looked at lots of photos of old mausoleums for inspiration. Now, I just need to finish the fence and all of the main cemetery parts will be finished. Then just ghouls, golems, worms, etc to do to complete the entire expansion.

I had fun flocking the crypt. I resembled Oscar the Grouch by the time I was finished!

I put a couple flickering LED candles inside the crypt to emulate torchlight/candlelight and thought it turned out pretty cool!

Learning from my previous forays into blending with wings, I decided to try for something more challenging.  In doing this, I learned that sometimes the parts of bigger minis don't fit together as well as one hopes, which in this case resulted in some  improvisation, especially around the foot/base socket and the wings.  But I am enjoying how he came out.  He was wondrously bumpy.  :-)

Okay, I did not see anyone else post one of these (and yes I know it's a year late), AND if it is NOT allowed, MODS please delete. BUT, in case anyone cares to see, I have posted my long awaited Bones 3 Core Set unboxing. Enjoy.

I had finished the dragon in December last year, but I still had the base to work on. Finally finished this brand new looking clockwork dragon painted with metallic paints and my favorite blue, Nightmare Black this weekend.  I still have another, thinking of doing a rusty/tarnished version sometime.
