Cape Buffalo Bull Bust

Recommended Posts

Gave him a Coat of sealant, but a bit of paint came off his nose =( I will have to try and color match it back. I already put a dollop of Drow Nipple Pink over the spot

That's a great plinth!

You could add foliage to the back make him appear out of the bushes

The foliage is a great idea; re, it would lessen the trophy kill look. That aside, the Buffalo is a GORGEOUS creation.

i didn't really want him to be on the side like a trophy, but i had no idea how to put him on top of a block. He is not made in a easy-to-mount way, with that perfectly flat back and no real place to drill to put a stand vertically

i will try to add some bushes or something

The lion is similar. I've ended up gluing a strong magnet on the back of him, and I made a magnetic mount on a nail. Then I'll drill a hole in a plinth, and glue the nail in. Beauty of the magnet is that I can change it out later if I want.

Really hoping the next bust I do is easier to set up.

the reaper dragon bust was a breeze to pin to a plinth, but it had a nice flat surface and arranged vertically, not horizontally like these

i'm not sure how to do the vegetation though. Just sticking wires and covering it in green stuff doesn't seem like it'd get the point across, but i'm nto sure what else to do. Paint vegetation on the 'wall' behind it?
