I’ve loved Blood Bowl for a long time, and I was super happy to see Games Workshop bring it back (ok, some of us were playing the whole time, but it is still great to see their new minis and boards).

Here’s a team that I got to do for a client. I’ve always favored the Bad Moons, so I was really happy that he wanted these guys in Bad Moon Yellow.

Awesome looking team!  Blood Bowl was my favourite specialist game back in the day - and it started with some of the guys in that club going "we're  short a team, want to give it a try?  We'll lend you minis..."   kind of wouldn't mind getting back into it!

Good day, i have been painting for a little while, but recently i have tried to push myself further... this is my second mini to do for LGS painting contest (i won the first one they did) .... have about a week left to finish him. so i am planning a little more highlights and more work on the weapons....

if it wasn't for a local friend i would still be painting in blocked colors and calling it done, but he keeps pushing me to try more hah!

i am open for input and criticism on him... :)

I recently started to paint my huge collection of "Lord of the Ring - Strategy Battle Game" miniatures :

I'm on a bit of Warhammer 40k kick at the moment, so I built and undercoated my other set of Space Adventurers (these ones come from their Black Fortress board game):-

These guys represent a more ragtag band of rogues and misfits than my Starstrider band.

You've got Elf and Kroot (I think) Rangers, and some sort of Space Wizard.

A big robot and a pair of Halfling Scouts.

A stylish human adventurer, a Priest and his scary, flame-saw wielding assistant.

Starting on the Priest, now known as Father Thadeus:-

Just a Dwarf Skin basecoat with Flesh Wash so far.

Presenting Inquisitor Greyfax from Warhammer40k (I'm not quite sure what faction she's part of).
My version is a righteous fanatic who travels from world to world, confronting the forces of darkness and passing judgement on those foolish enough to play a part in its machinations. She makes a powerful but untrusted ally for my Space Adventurers.

Had a lot of fun painting this one, although she was very time consuming (kept having to go back and fix stray brush-marks). Best of all, I finally managed to pull off a colour-coded power gauge, woohoo!

As always, any comments of criticisms are warmly received.

Going a little ambitious here as I've never tried doing this many multiples at once.  3 different old school army sets from the 80s and 90s.  From front to back we have Grenadier's Orcs of the Severed Hand, Grenadier's Ogres of the East, and some of Ral Partha's Gargantuan Orcz.

The last group is not a complete set, but random picks I got from Iron Winds Metal.  Though they're called gargantuan, they're not so much nowadays as can be seen when you compare them to a Bones orc.

Also, as they're random picks, some of them don't have all their parts, like the one above on the left is suppose to have a shield.  So big Bones over there made a sacrifice as I actually wasn't too keen on painting him anyway.

And this next guy is a standard bearer, but I don't have the standard.  So I put something together with a Reaper Weapons Pack piece and a GW skull.
