Bat demon's wings look translucent. Nice paint! Love using undead in my games as well.

The Vampire and the Necromancer are "dressed" for the occasion, one wouldn't want blood all over a pretty dress right?

So to keep my promise not buying any minis, I ordered a Grenadier Undead Flyer from the Evilbay .

I can quit any time I want!

A question.

I will post the Egyptian Undead and Undead Pirates in my Lost World.

All will get their own Show Off of course.

Do we want to see those here as well?

Or shall I keep this reserved for the classic  Undead/ demons etc?

nicely done especially the demon.

As to your question.. my vote is to keep them separate and leave this thread for the not-lost-world undead

Thank you, this was initially my intention as well.

All you see in the first post has their own show off.

One can find it in my Index of Painted minis ( see my sig)

SO...in order to start a proper Legion of the Death with all kinds of evil allies, I ordered some stuff from Ebay...it will arrive soon.

I  love the way you painted Lurien and Aysa.

Thx those were painted years ago and I sold them along with the bats and crows...

They can be seen here:

I might one day buy new ones and try something else.

They are lovely sculpts

Enough talk of minis I painted in the past.

Here is the first batch I'll be working on.

This will be a Command Group for an Undead Regiment.

I will gladly mix all sorts of Undead in one unit since I don't game.

For example, like I did in my Swamp Themed Undead Regiment before

Here:

http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/60959-undead-regiment-in-a-swamp-mixed-manufacturers/&hl=%2Bundead%2B%2Bregiment

Here we have REAPER 14291: Standard & Musician, Necropolis ( they came with an extra violin, useful for later)

And the Officer is a Grenadier mini.

It is actually one of the Dragonman Specialists from set 153 but I think he looks pretty demonic, so instead he will be a demon in this army.

Here's my 2018 Ghoulie Bag translucent smoky grey 77636, Death Shroud. I simply did a blueish highlight and painted the base on this Dark Heaven Bones model sculpted by Julie Guthrie.

Hi everyone, here's a simple paint job on a translucent version of 77096, Labella DeMornay. This model was sculpted by Julie Guthrie. I painted it with green ink and acrylics.

Nearly finished with the Dungeon Dwellers special from Reaper. Will add a goblet (is that just red wine?) to the base and have a final go at highlights.
The base is thin Cork sheet from The Range (if you are in the UK) layered up. It tears very easily but good for things like this.

These guys were a nice excuse to paint up some undead that weren't bound to the usual colors. I figure that they're a group of adventurers that got hired to take out Selmarina, (who is the only dedicated evil witch I've painted thus far). They got as far as taking down her Minotaur bodyguard before she "reprimanded, reeducated, and reanimated" them. Now they serve as champions in the Pumpkin Legions...

I was inspired by artwork of the Crimson King from Stephan King's Dark Tower with this guy. Obviously he was the wizard of the party before things went sideways.

Live, dead, when you're one of Selmarina's minions she still expects you to do your job. Employment security I suppose...

I tried very hard to avoid making this one resemble Legolas. So I went with an Autumn inspired scheme, which I'll probably run with when it comes time to paint the few other living elves I've got laying around somewhere.

Greens and Browns are usually more elven type colors, but I wanted to keep this one as far as possible from both the red browns of Gimli and the usual colors of the Coffee Dwarves.

I see some flock got stuck to his axe, I should probably fix that...

Even death cannot stop the hunger of the average Halfling. He may prefer flesh to taters now but that doesn't mean the mushrooms are safe...

And now for the rest of Village Attacks, the star players themselves, the Monsters and Town Heroes.

Looking over the photos, I may need to do another coat of fixer spray.  They're looking a little bit frosty in the pictures, which is not as obvious to the naked eye.

To start, the characters themselves, the MONSTERS:

Next is the piece that convinced me to join the Kickstarter, because you can play as Baba Yaga:

      Beware her scream, the Banshee!

      The ever-hungry Wendigo:

Another eater of the dead, the Ghoul:

      Born of fire, the Efreet:

      Born of smoke, the Djinn:

      Everliving and eternal, the Mummy:

      Ditto, the Lich:

      The old drowner, the Vodyanoy:

I don't have much to say about the Baykok:

A poor choice for a one-night stand, the Glaistig:

Now starring in his own Netflix original series, the Vampire:

Another regrettable Tinder match, the Succubus:

The old man of the woods, the Leshy:

Ready to whip it real good, the Dullahan:

The other star players, though it's your job to viciously murder them, the Town Heroes!

      The Pathfinder:

      The Djinn Trapper:

      The Traveller:

      The Skald:

      The Spirit Walker:

      The Assassin:

      The Maharib:

      The Bounty Hunter:

      The Executioner:

      The Wind Dancer:

      The Alchemist:

      The Portal Mage:

      My personal favorite, the Fisherman:
