Thanks!

I don't play Guild Ball either, it just fulfils a weird need I have to paint little, loosely associated groups of minis.

Progress:-

EP31Uyz.jpg

I finished off his skin with highlights of Dwarf Flesh and 1:1 Dwarf Flesh/Light Flesh.

He then got hair (1:1 Pure Black/Dark Prussian Blue > Dark Prussian Blue with two brushtipfuls Off-white > Black Wash), scars (Old West Rose) and big lips (Old West Rose > 1:1 Old West Rose/Light Flesh).

Not totally sold on the lips, I think I need to at least tone down the highlight.

Ulfr has pants!

Did the usual Hunters Guild bits (Bonewhite skulls, Bronze moon charms and a Brassy Brass guild symbol), and the blades of his knives (Oily Steel > Black Wash > Oily Steel > Aluminium).

His trousers were based with Steel Grey, highlighted with 1:1 Azure/Ghost Grey and 1:2 Azure/Ghost Grey and shaded with 1:1 Steel Grey/Dark Prussian Blue.

Progress:-

Did his boots (Lonestar Leather > Brown Wash > Lonestar Leather > 1:1 Lonestar Leather/Ochre Yellow) with Cork Brown stitches and Leather Brown soles and furry bits (Stone Grey > Wolf Grey).

Also did the remains of his 2nd pair of trousers (?) in Olive Green > 1:1 Olive Green/Bonewhite.

Next are the scaly bits.

Did the scaly skin bits.

The skin is 1:1 Dead Flesh/Cork Brown and the scales are Scarlett Red with a Red Orange highlight, plus some Bronze rings, with a Brown Wash all over.

Made a start on the furry cape by doing the skin parts in 1:1 Dwarf Skin/Parasite Brown with a Flesh Wash.

Painted the furry part of his cape. This was a base of Leather Brown with drybrushes of 2:1 Ochre Yellow/Leather Brown > Ochre Yellow > 1:1 Ochre Yellow/Off-white and then a Brown Wash.

Then I did his stitched thingamebob (Leather Brown with Cork Brown stitches and a Brown Wash), plus Bonewhite bony bits and antlers (Parasite Brown > Brown Wash > 1:1 Parasite Brown/Bonewhite).

Just the base left.

Presenting Farris, a former knight turned member of the Blacksmiths Guild, from the game Guild Ball.

Rather pleased with this in the end, although I need more experience working on PVC minis, I missed so many mold-lines while prepping this one!

Starting yet another Guild Ball mini:-

Compound, a player for both the Engineer and Alchemist Guilds. He was pretty easy to assemble considering he came in a lot of pieces for a metal mini (body, apron, both arms, head and four canisters for the engine on his back.

Since it involved drybrushing, I started on his mechanical arms:-

So far I've finished the wooden (Parasite Brown > Brown Wash > Parasite Brown drybrush > Ochre Yellow drybrush > Sepia Wash) and material (Scarlett Red > 1:2 Scarlett Red/Pale Yellow > Brown Wash) parts. The bronze metal parts are a base of Bronze with a Brown Wash so far and the steel parts are yet to be done.

Still taking a little break from my other projects, so I'm currently painting random Guild Ball minis, the latest being Farris, ex-knight and master blacksmith:-

Hopefully I got all the mold-lines, I did spot the one on her collar after taking these piccys.

      Got her head painted.
Her face is a base of 1:1 Beastly Brown/Dwarf Skin, Brown Shade Wash and then highlights of 1:1 Beastly Brown/Dwarf Skin and 1:1:1 Beastly Brown/Dwarf Skin/Light Skin.
And her hair is Leather Brown, shaded with Brown Wash and highlighted with 2:1 Leather Brown/Bonewhite.

Next job will likely be painting the underside of her horse (he has a name but I've forgotten it) black. I meant to do that first, but forgot

Presenting Grace (Leaping lady) and Benediction (Big scary dude), church enforcers in the game of Guild Ball.

Had a lot of fun painting this pair, their highly patterned armour came out better than expected, but I think I dialled back the highlights on the purple capes a tad too much.

Presenting Ulfr a member of the Hunters Guild from the game Guild Ball, and the last mini from my 'Heralds of the Winters Moon' WIP thread.

Fun to paint but surprisingly heavy on my poor old wrists!
