Nice choice using this as a demon.  I didn't recognize the piece and really thought demon before knowing it was supposed to be a dragon man.

Well, actually I took it from a BOGW some time ago and classified it as a Demon until I found it in my Grenadier Catalogue listed as a Dragonman.

The pose with the staff makes it more so IMHO.

So for me he will be a Demon Officer leading Undead.

Thx!

Grenadier had a whole bunch of these Dragonmen.

Mirlinton still has them.

Looks great & it's nice to see some orange on a mini, it really suits him!

Thx,

I have used this skintone before on a Ral Partha Ogre and am now applying it to a large Dragyr in the Lost World Project.

Great choice of mini for an officer I think, he certainly emanates that aura of leadership.

And oh, very cool painting as well, as always! ^_^

Been a lurker here for a while, this will be my first Figure.
Painting Reaper figures again after a long break.
Robes and hat painted using Reaper Red Hair Triad (9781)
Skin painted using Reaper Golden Skin Triad (9731) topped off with a very dilute PPP skin wash.
      Thanks for looking.

This was another ina large collection of oldies that my high school friends gave me. Trying to make the scales look like garnets or rubies. Please critique!

Finished but not 100% satisfied maybe about 90%. The sculpt's look is fine but following the instructions the shadows came out too dark and the highlights barely noticeable the actual light over my table is doing more to highlight. Don't think this guy is the best to learn on due to the staff really blocking areas and making them hard to paint. If the staff was sculpted separate and you then glued it on I think it would be better. However for table top quality I this is fine and as always i learned some stuff.  I have another Anirion that I'll try again on at a later date.

I have painted these guys to include them in a diorama/terrain piece for the Lost World and thought they deserved a show off of their own before they dissapear into the vast jungle.

      Enjoy.

Can it be that I'm the only one excited about THIS business?

One of the first RPG systems. One of the stepping stones that launched Steve Jackson's career. The ancestor of the venerable GURPS. They're bringing back Liz Danforth, the original illustrator, and reworking and refurbishing the whole enchilada.

      And it's BACK.

Why are you not all immediately funding this?
