As for an idea for a setting.....why not ReaperCon? I wouldn't doubt that some place makes miniature round tables, or make your own. Put like 2-3 tables, some cups and paints, etc.

I doubt you could find one, but the Grenadier Dragon Lords game had a line of small dragons (supposedly approx. 6mm scale), and one of them was a blister of 5723 : Spectral Dragons...  No wings, though.

Adding 28mm succubus wings to those and you're set.

Actually if you can find some of the minis from that line there were a number of packs with winged dragons as well. I might even have some, buried in a box some where in a basement full of boxes.

Progress!

all of them got the bases and extraneous stuff, weapons, etc removed, and then had pins driven into their feet to mount them on corks....

Our Hero, the Drow elf, Matthias also got primed, as there isn't any green stuffing to do on him....

Drove a pin all the way through the broken off leg and then attached it....

This is an old Grenadier Dragon that I thought might be the basis for takky, show next to Sir Forscale and Matthias...

That figure is still way to big to be a 28mm Takky to a 28mm Drow, but I'm searching the familiar packs....

Baby steps still, but something!

Thanks for looking....

Matthias also got another coat of primer....

Wondering what folks think...

the 2 wolfmen have their hands 'open' as if they are going to claw or slap someone, while the rest have their hands in fists...

Would it be better to cut notches under their knuckles and fold their hands before adding the green stuff, or just to cut off their fingers and thumbs.....

opinions desired!

Cutting hands/fingers off would be less work....

i'm not sure which way would look better.

Moar work!

Some fixes on @buglips*the*goblin, as the dremel got away from me a few times, to his feet....

Started to buildup his trademark helmet, and the pom poms...

I wonder.....

For those of you at Reapercon last year, should I do the hat that @Dr.Bedlam gave him at con?????

IMG_20171022_113350941_HDR.jpg

And added the putty bases for the pom poms to @ub3r_n3rd

Was having a biotch of a time getting the green stuff to stick to the minis tonight, anyone know why this would be????

I have had some requests about Brutus pics.

I have painted these guys to include them in a diorama/terrain piece for the Lost World and thought they deserved a show off of their own before they dissapear into the vast jungle.

      Enjoy.

This is a little sideproject from my Lost World Project
      WIP here: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-lost-world-project-glitterwolf-paints-coldblooded-creatures-and-conquistadores/&

I think it deserves it's own WIP.
It will be covered in the Lost World as well, but there it will be interrupted by the other things I paint and build there.

With courtesy to @malefactus , @Peithetairosand @Chris Palmer for inspiring me with their awesome terrainbuilding.

It all started when I noticed my spare base from Kaladrax.
Kaladrax was put on a crypt as can be seen here: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/77556-kaladrax-on-her-mausoleum-by-glitterwolf/

At first it was just an idea, putting some jungle stuff on that.
But then things kinda got out of hand a bit.

      And some fericious foam cutting

Another Clan Wars mini I got from @Jasper_the_2nd for my Nippon, Land of the Rising Moon project.

      This time an ONI OGRE.

      WIP HERE:
      http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79416-nippon-land-of-the-rising-moon-by-glitterwolf/

When asked for their allegiance the Oni joined forces with the murdered Toda Clan and the last survivors.
Due to the family ties they swore to annihilate the Kenmu Clan for their foul deeds.
In battle these Oni terrified the enemy, larger than men and wielding huge weapons they cut their way through the Kenmu ranks.

Here are three more Samurai Zombies from Clan Wars, I got them from @Jasper_the_2nd
They are very nice sculpts and I had a lot of fun with these.

      WIP is here:
      http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79416-nippon-land-of-the-rising-moon-by-glitterwolf/

The Undead Samurai slowly advanced, nothing could stop them, arrows just got stuck in their flesh or armor and they kept going.
      Another volley, nothing stopped them!
The now undead Toda Clan sought revenge to those who had wronged them.
They kept coming, determined to slaughter their enemies.
