Forgot to ask, does anyone have experience with RBJ Game Company?

I didn't back their last KickStarter (Skulls?), but backed the one just before that. (Skeletons).  The had decent communication and fulfilled quickly and on-time.  I will back again if the project is right.

That said, I'm liking the look of that medusa.

Keeping an eye on this one, that’s a nice Medusa. Never heard of RBJ Game Company before, wish they’d name the sculptors in their store though .

On another note, I’ve never heard of “Popular Company” miniatures as shown in the scale shot...

I backed the skeleton one and the skulls one. Good communication, easy to use website for 'ordering' the KS, quick shipping. This one isn't up my alley but I may head in for a figure or two.

I'm in for the Medusa.

The rest just doesn't stand out, really.

Also, while soldiers might have marched with their helmets up like that, they definitely pulled them down to cover their face in actual combat, or even when 'just' practising with their weapons, because one, it's a helmet designed to PROTECT the head, so it's stupid not to use it, and two, wearing it 'up' like that it's likely to fall off when doing vigorous movements. It's also a good idea to practice with the helmet on to get used to the weight, mobility issues and lack of peripheral vision.

I like the characters and add ons.  The cyclops and gorgon are my favorites.

Yes.  I went in on their sci fi Kickstarter and it was all good.

Looks like they’re over the mark for the Cyclops!  That’s the one I dig the most.

Cute triumphs over accuracy. Actually, maybe she had just taken a fearsome blow to her face. Her helm did it's job, protecting her and getting knocked back in the process. Yeah, that's the ticket. It might even look good painted up with some manufactured damage and blood on it. Then she'd have it up because it didn't fit properly anymore. Of course the suspension of disbelief is severely tested when you see three out of four are knocked back in a similar fashion...

Hey, maybe they are fighting a flail snail, and the flails all spin upwards, causing an abnormal number of helms to be knocked back.

Or they are marching to war through tiger territory, and have faces painted on the tops of their plumes for safety:

I just got my stuff today as well. One of those rarities, a kickstarter fulfilling on time.

Athena looks great, and her owl is amazing. She is a bit larger than the other minis, as befitting a Goddess. The owl is nicely made, I didn't use anything to hold it in place, it balanced well on it's own on the flying stand and separate base. I also added a set of pillars, as you can see they are quite tall, I didn't want to zoom any further out or I would lose too much detail on the other minis. I got a pack of translucent snakes and the set of resin hoplites, they are surprisingly dark, but look quite good. There is a reaper guy on the end for scale.

A close up on the snake and hoplite. Still a bit hard to see, but the detail is good.

Somehow a sleestak grabbed a machine gun and snuck into my box (I'm guessing it was a bonus freebee to show their other lines). I laid a pillar on it's side to show proper size. The schnauzer was a freebee, then one from the archer, spear and sword sets I picked up. There were a few shield options, I picked the assorted packs. Unpainted the minis look topless, they have belly button and nipples on them. Only the raised edge across the chests and skirts make it obvious they are armoured. Of course painting them would make it clear. I picked up the medusa as well. She's a beauty, but needs some assembly. There is some flash, but not any abnormal amounts and it looks easy to clean.

Overall, a very good ks experience. Nice minis, good prices, and quick delivery.

      Project description:

      About
Hello Again Kickstarter backers new and loyal, longtime supporters and fans of Red Box games! We have returned again to kickstarter in the hopes to fund our newest selection of fantasy norse figures that we call the Njorn.
Our intention is to fund the production of a new set of heroes and their faithful follower rank and file troops. We also intend to fund the set up of our in house production capacity! This means buying a spin caster, a smelter, all the various periphery of safe casting, metal shelves to hold molds ( LOTS of molds ) having our molds shipped to us from the various contractors we currently partner with, and raw metal to do the casting with. Being set up for in house production will allow us to reinvest in the various aspects that will make your experience with Red Box Games more efficient and better presented, as well as allow us to manage our working capital MUCH more efficiently.
We currently reinvest a disproportionate amount of our profits into maintaining reasonable stock levels across the entire breadth of the red box games line. This is a HUGE investment that grows every time we add new products to the line. It also means we have to rely on kickstarters much more because we simply cannot afford to just put new items in to the store without knowing that the funds are already there to pay for the production and stocking of said items.

Once set up for casting we will be able to keep the funds of the business' success where it belongs, in the future of the business. It also has the added advantage of allowing us to afford lower prices across the board and able to take chances on items which are too risky to produce through out sourcing such as larger monsters and cavalry and Rank and File sets appropriately priced for army building.

To insure that the high level of quality you have come to expect from Red Box Games is faithfully maintained, I will be training in casting with a VERY talented and experienced mold maker and caster. I wont be handling the entire burden of casting right away so there is no need to worry that this development will slow down delivery of the Kickstarter or the regular course of business for RBG.

My molds will continue to be made by one of the industry's best studios as well so there is no need to worry that the burden will overwhelm me or that the overall quality of the Red Box Games product will suffer.

I cannot do any of this without your help so please consider backing this kickstarter! You will get some really cool stuff for a GREAT price in a reasonable amount of time and I will FINALLY be able to set up for my own production and make some real progress in this industry!

AAAaaannndddd without further Adieu...... ON TO THE MINIATURES!!!
We intend to fund as many figures as this kickstarter will allow and at the outset of the campaign we have 19 figures ready to go with a few slight details needing to be added before they are ready for production and I still have several more underway which will be shown as they are completed and added to the campaign as the funding allows.

      About
Chibis are super deformed, yet adorable characters that have lately have made a splash in the boardgaming and miniature community with games such as Super Dungeon Explore, Arcadia Quest, Ninja All-Stars and many others. They're also featured in collectible figurines and in other geeky paraphernalia.
This is the EIGHTH Chibi KickStarter run by Impact! Miniatures and Impact! is partnering with Chibi Capsule and Märchen to bring you some incredible, new Magical Girl chibi miniatures along with monsters for them to combat!
The funding goal will pay for the sculpting & 3-D printing of the miniatures. And for some of them: The metal masters and resin production molds needed to create mass production of the miniatures.
      The Miniatures
ALL miniatures in this KickStarter are provided unpainted. Unless otherwise stated after the name of the miniature, all miniatures offered with this KickStarter will be high quality 3-D prints done on a top end 25 to 50 micron printer (you should not see print lines after priming and paint).   As stretch goals are reached we will unlock additional sculpts.  Stretch Goal may also pay for metal mastering and rubber molds for mass production spincast resin models which will allow the project to offer some of the Magical Girls at lower costs to our backers.  The miniatures will require light clean up, being primed before painted and might need some assembly (although we will do our best to keep the figures with as few pieces as possible).
You can use your reward dollars to get any of the miniatures in the listing below.

Part of their limited edition Legacy Vault series like their previous Easter Troll KS..  Halloween minis and Red Riding Hood.. my wallet just ran and hid..

      About this project
CAMPAIGN WILL START 24 OCTOBER 22:00 CET

Starting from Easter 2017, we decided to begin creating miniatures dedicated to major holidays.
These limited edition items will delight enthusiasts, collectors and artists alike, and the models may even end up on board games if the players can use their imagination well enough!
Our concept is to bring out one or more dedicated models each year, at regular intervals, for a limited period of time and in limited quantities. After the regular sales period ends, models will enter our Legacy Vault, which will remain closed until the next event: once it's closed for good, the models inside will not be sold anymore.
But what is the Legacy Vault and how does it work?
Legacy Miniatures are fairly rare models that aren't normally available for purchase in our store. You can sometimes find them in on sale during special events and always for a very short time. The Legacy Vault is the place where Legacy Miniatures are kept after the sales period ends. Inside this Vault you will find all limited models made in past events. Be warned, the Vault may not reopen for future sales, so if you see a piece that you like and are on the fence, you'd better not risk lossing it for good, and grab it quickly. There's no guarantee it will be available again next year, or the one after that! A certificate will also be issued with each model, authenticating its number and release of issue.
A Certificate will come with every limited model that you buy from this campaign.
Models are in 32mm scale. However, bear in mind that this does not mean that they will measure 32 mm from head to toe, but rather that they will have the proportions of this scale.
Models will be made in resin and/or metal, depending on the model. Each model will come with a generic base, but we are sure that the experts among you will be able to create a small diorama for these limited editions.
