Ah yes, I see the Confused Travoltafication has already begun. Mine has never worn off. ::P:

I......genuinely didn’t remember that there were 2 treasure hoards. I painted all of that on my final morning on like my 26th hour straight of painting....so it’s probably understandable that it’s a bit fuzzy.

I’m so excited to see you putting the Bondic to good use in this! I wish I would’ve had it for my DDS2’s ruins!

*blinks a few times* Nope, I only made sure there was a tray of freshly baked cookies, as well as some cupcakes and other snacks alongside a mug of freshly brewed coffee...

Maybe it was @Chaoswolf

Or maybe it's all that glitter, cleverly concealed by donuts with way to many sprinkles on them! ::P:

Shhhhh, no one wins until the purple kitty finishes the painting of all the things.

Don't distract her.

Actually, the first thing I did was to go back over Dragon's head, neck and right arm after giving my new bottle of Brown Liner a good 30 seconds on my paint shaker. The glossiness was making me a bit nervous, and I'd like to head off any weird adhesion issues before they start.

Pictures to follow in a bit, I be working on ALL THE HAIR right now; just taking a brief stretch break while stuff dries.

By the way, I don't recall if I mentioned it before or not, but I REALLY appreciate everyone's cheering and support! For those of you who have performed on a stage, you'll know that there's this incredible energy you get from the audience; it's much the same here. So, thank you. ^_^

I am going to paint along, I'll be attempting to finish the female magic user in 7 days. :)

Yay, painting partner! :bday: She's so pretty, I wish I had more time to devote to painting her up properly. After I'm done, I think I may buy all the adventurers again so I can paint them all fancy, they're all such lovely sculpts. ^_^

The Topic of this post presupposes that OneBoot had marbles to begin with.

True.

Also is there a cupcake delivery service in your area?

Maybe? There are several little bakeries around, but I don't know if any of them do deliveries.

Truly, @OneBoot is attempting to complete the Battletoads of painting challenges!

As long as there's no Turbo Tunnel level.

Oh, so you think you have what it takes to join me in being a Four Time Goblin Challenge Champion, huh? <_<

Well, I think you're right! :bday:

I love all of your post so much. Mostly because it's ALL TRUE.:wacko::zombie:

Further progress today will be piecemeal, as MrBoot came home from work early. I try not to work on my Challenges too much while he's at home, since he's not entirely approving of me doing them. He'll be out of town on a business trip from Friday morning through Tuesday afternoon, though, which is why I chose to start this Challenge now. :)

This is a piece I did for a friend of mine.  It's for his D&D character who is currently trapped in the underdark.  He said the character was an Evocation Specialist, using Ice lance, Lightening bolt, and fireball.  The color palette came from that idea, using cool colors for the ice lance, and the warm colors from the fireball.  The hair, though you cant tell from my awesome cellphone picture, is actually highlighted with metallic Mirthril, since the character has silvery hair.  Overall, I am really happy with how he came out.  I am planning to do a cave like base, but for now the solid base will work.   Enjoy!

Finished him up a week ago or so, but just got around to pics. Second attempt at NMM, not really happy with the results, but I suppose it works. Had further plans on doing OSL from the sword but was feeling finished by the time I got that far and decided good enough. May try and come back and add it in later though.

Had an extra one of these lying about, and decided to experiment with a limited palette. Here’s how she turned out:

      Front
      Back

Main colors used were MSP Woodland Brown, Brilliant Green, Scholar Flesh, and Yellowed Bone (and it’s triad).

Not completely happy with her skin tones, I tried everything up to Moth Green trying to get a light tone that still read as green. Wound up using one of the darkest greens I have, go figure. Shaded by gradually dropping the flesh tone until it was straight green, but it turned out to be a rather extreme color shift.

I like how the base and tree trunk came out, however. The ground shade was achieved by throwing some blues and yellows together until they stopped being bad and then painting some gray on the rocks.

All in all, I think it turned out all right for just messing around. Definitely something to practice in the future. Comments, critiques, and suggestions appreciated.

So I started painting this guy... I don't even remember how long ago. Pulled him out tonight and decided to wash him with a couple other bones I was prepping... He felt a little tacky... And now feels worse. And the tooth brush feels all gummy.

He's from Bones 1, and probably painted with older GW paints, not not 100% sure.

Fairly sure I'm just going to drop him in some simple green and start over... Though I'm wondering if there has been some weird chemical change and if I'd just be better off getting a new copy of him?

Anyone else run into something like this? I know some paint dries tacky on bones, but can that be cleaned off and repainted?

This one was on my shelf of shame for quite a while, until my daughter told me off for having it lying around.  So I sculpted a shirt for her out of greenstuff which was a fun learning process.  I needed her for my D&D game last week, so she got the speed paint finish.  Her skin is the dusky flesh triad with some light grey added.
