That feeling that there are dots unconnected...

Why does Utah require that Sir Cyr have a work visa?

Everywhere requires a work visa!

I thought Cyr got a job in Canukistan. Which would explain the whole Seattle stop.

Yaaaay, one of four packages coming my way is in town!  Now if only two of them would actually see movement on the shipping - they're still at label created two days later o_O

...Getting slightly worried since most of those are paints and/or washes, and winter appears to have announced it's coming early (we had snow yesterday, and forecast calls for... snow today)

Relations between Faerie and Utah are a bit strained.

Next week I will have my basic Military Skills Training again.

So looking forward to put on that mask and stand in a room filled with tear gas..and then do all the funny drills with it..

I do like the shooting part though.

One of my favorite things about my job is meeting new dogs. You can tell they're happy and excited if they beat you with their adorable tails. I love dogs!

So... yeah.... have been feeling unwell lately... in a "female" way... but for longer than usual....

Just confirmed today.... I'm pregnant ^_^

Congrats!

The deplorable treatment of these prisoners of war shall not go unanswered!

WOOF sends our apologies to R.I.B.B.I.T.

It seems the food meant for the Prisoner Of War Facilities has been distributed elsewhere.

I was my Company training officer which meant that I got to do all of the chemical things… By the time I left that job I could do the cs tent without the mask.. I would not want to try that now, and would much rather do the shooty thing instead

edit:  nothing scares the new privates in your unit like the LT joking and laughing with the NBC NCO in the CS tent all morning.

Progress on the new(ish)* apartment has continued! The big screen TV is now mounted! I am really happy with where my living room is going.

I know the stuff is just annoying, but it is still chemical and not something you would like to inhale on a regular basis.

We have good masks, so if all goes well, I won't even smell it.

A few years ago I had a leak in the mask though, wasn't pleasant.

Shooting, first aid drills, map reading, recognizing explosives/ammo are all part of the training.

Those are cool.

But I hate the theoretical stuff like Military Laws, Ground safety stuff etc.

Truth.

Michigan, went to their "Mexican" restaurant. Everything was heavily laden with chili powder. Apparently chili powder = Mexican food there.

Bleh.

In Oklahoma I had a potato salad.

They had mashed the potatoes! That's just wrong, man! Just plain wrong!

For salsa, I have become addicted to Trader Joe's Cowboy Caviar.

I have tried to make my own, but... there seems to be something missing when I do it myself. (I'll figure it out eventually, but meanwhile, I will just buy the Trader Joe's.)
