The sound of the rain pounding on the flight deck above my head is really rather soothing.  I do wonder what it would have sounded like if the ship still had her original wooden deck, rather than the steel she has now.

And as much as I love snow, I'm glad we aren't there yet. I want to keep enjoying Autumn for a bit yet.

You have a cool office.

@TheAuldGrump Mellification is a very,...very...cruel way to go.

It was sometimes performed on enemies while alive.

A mummy drenched in honey seeking revenge would be a nice touch though.

mummification of any kind to someone who is still alive is very unkind. Doing so my smothering/drowning them in honey? You know, some days I wonder if the world would be better off without humans.

It would. There's a wonderful book called "The World Without Us" that talks about what would happen if all humans just went *poof*. Good read.

It's probably a good rule of thumb to never trust a bird in a tuxedo...

Never trust anyone in a Tuxedo during the daytime. Unless it's at a wedding, and even then, be careful.

Been there! It’s really something to see. Too bad about the crazy that burnt it down in the 1960’s. Not that I probably could tell between it and the original.

Can’t read it. I get depressed thinking about all the lovely sunsets that have happened over the millions of years of existence of life on the Earth, and how they were never recorded for posterity. Stupid dinosaurs. Couldn’t get off their elf to take some pictures now and then.

Then I think about all the sunsets happening on other planets around the universe and get super upset I can’t see them either. That sends me into a bit of a downward spiral that takes some work to pull out of.

Stupid aliens. Not sharing rides to really pretty places. I hate them. Especially the greys. Stuck ups.
