So it turns into plastic and rubber?

Just don't put it in soup and she may forgive you someday.

Which one of the Spice Girls was she?

The one with the orange hair done up in a green top knot.

I prefer both Tea and Cornbread untainted with Sugar.

Hot Tea and Cornbread should be served with Honey.

Iced Tea, if it's good doesn't need any sweetener, or lemon.

You monster...

One of the most delicious coffees I've ever had is instant. It's called Maxim, and it's made in Korea. It takes 2-3 packs per cup, depending on size, but it's great. And it makes some awesome camp coffee.

Arch Heretics do NOT get cloaks!

They are condemned to losing their Cheese privileges, they are allowed only Valveeta: the Anti Cheese!

That's a pretty intense punishment. Velvetta is the Old One's cheese product.

I think I'll stick with real cheese.

With regards to eyebrows: my Hubby has these fantastic points on his, which, when me makes his devious face, give him a very evil look. Unfortunately, he hates it when they stick up ::(:

The problem is the pumpkin part. Those are general pie or chai spices and are glorious. Then the pumpkin comes and ruins it!

Funny, I get upset when a pumpkin product doesn't contain any actual pumpkin.

Or even another type of squash.

You realise that if you'd provided less gargoyles she probably wouldn't have needed them, right?

No, I provided 14, she needed 30.

The VA will remain open and continue to care for veterans.

You use that word 'continue' like the VA was caring for veterans before?? I have a friend who waited 3 years for her initial consult to validate her 100% service-related disabilities. I have another old friend who's father, a WWII vet, passed away from cancer while waiting for his initial consult (again, a several year wait)..

Sorry if I come across as a bit jaded, but I find our VA administration to be an abomination and pray that I never need to rely on them for my own health care needs.

Unfortunately, I can neither confirm nor deny that there are some issues with receiving care within the VA. I could probably write a long dissertation on the issue, but then it would probably end up being buzzed out of this thread.

All I can say about the Marion, IL VA is they took wonderful care of both my Dad and my Father in Law. Sadly, this has not been the case nationwide, as our Vets deserve better. Thank you to all who have and are serving now.

My wife won't give me any ideas for Christmas. So I got thinking about doing sort of a Japanese garden style diorama with the victorian looking Bones minis walking in it. Got some ok looking cherry trees and I think I can make the rest. Trouble is keeping her from seeing it while I'm making it and can I finish in 3 weeks especially when we'll be gone part of that. Last diorama I did for her took me 2 years. Ok, I may not have been working on it very often during those 2 years.

Or maybe just fresh, which amounts to the same thing.

Baking Soda and Powder both go "flat" over time, quicker in a humid environment.

They can also be revived in a microwave, or at least baking soda can. (I generally use the 'revived' baking soda in the fridge - wouldn't trust it to cook with.)

Baking the powder can also work, but takes time, and is messy. getting the soda back in the box.

Sorry, that was Donald Trump in a bikini.

The Auld Grump - I used to have a unit in Warhammer called The Spice Ghouls... complete with banner reading Ghoul Power.

OMG, yes.  This is definitely me, too.

And yet people still complain that I insist on taking a lunch at a set time.
