Ooooh, purdies and.. Whatever  the other guys are.  Badlands Commander is tempting, as I'd be able to add on some of the North and South armies too...

There first kickstarter was a deal dreams were made of but I don't think they made a dime on it.  This one has a bit more realistic costs.  I probably wouldn't bother (still have 2 of the first factions unbuilt)  but peace river is the faction I actually play.

The product from the last kickstarter was very late because they had a lot of details and learning to do, but the minis came out truly spectacular, as in I've only had to clean up one or two mold lines in 60 figures and I'm still not sure if they were intentional.  As they learned a lot i would also expect delivery time to be a lot shorter.

Oh, and these Don t require you to pin them together to prevent them from exploding like a frag grenade when they hit the cement or tile floor ::D:

Overall, good company, great product so far, I will be backing for both fractions.

Heavy Gear Blitz Peace River & NuCoal Core Plastic Miniatures Kickstarter Final Week Update!

Dream Pod 9's Heavy Gear Blitz Peace River & NuCoal Core Plastic Miniatures Kickstarter is now into its final week, ending Saturday Evening May 26th, 2018. After reaching our initial funding goal of $25,000 CAD, early in the campaign, to make a first plastic injection mold and give Backers some nice plastic miniatures for the game. We've unlocked the first 4 stretch goals with over $36,000 CAD pledged. We have looked at whats reasonable to expect in the final week of the Kickstarter and updated our stretch goals and plans accordingly. The campaign page text, reward levels graphics, stretch goal graphic, some add-ons graphics, and pledge calculator excel sheet link have all been updated.

The next major goal is Stretch Goal 09 at $50K CAD pledged for a second plastic injection mold that will include core Fire Support and Recon models for Peace River and NuCoal. Dream Pod 9 is committed to reaching this goal and unlocking the second mold and making the Backer Reward Packages some really amazing deals. If needed we will run an extra funding campaign after the Kickstarter ends using our pledge manager website to reach the $50K CAD goal.

We have updated Stretch Goal 09 to give Backers an amazing reward. At $50K CAD pledged we`ll be adding 3 Crusader IV (FS support unit) and 3 Skirmisher (RC support unit) plastic miniatures to the Peace River Army Commander, Badlands Commander and their Hero of version Reward Level packages. Plus we`ll be adding 3 Chevalier (FS support unit) and 3 Jerboa (RC support unit) plastic miniatures to the NuCoal Army Commander, Badlands Commander and their Hero of version Reward Level packages. With this a Peace River or NuCoal Army Commander reward level will each include 18 plastic miniatures for $70 CAD pledged ($3.89 per mini). And the Badlands Commander reward level will include 36 plastic miniatures for $100 CAD pledged ($2.78 per mini). Plus we have made available all 4 of plastic miniatures as Add-Ons for an Extra Pledge right now for Backers that want to pickup extras, and make full Fire Support or Recon squads (combat groups) instead of support units for the GP and Strike squads.

FinalWeekHGBPeaceRiverandNuCoalKickstart

We had planned for a 3rd plastic injection mold at $75K CAD pledged that would have included the Peace River Argos, NuCoal Arbalestier, and Stoneheads badlands terrain as plastic miniatures. But for the Final Week we have pulled back on that plan and are now offering the Argos and Arbalestier as pewter miniatures in the Add-Ons for an Extra Pledge of $22 CAD each. Plus added our previously available resin terrain packs of Four Stoneheads in Sand ($22 CAD) and Four Stoneheads ($28 CAD) to the Add-Ons for an Extra Pledge for Backers that want to add some gaming terrain.

Thank You to all our Backers for your amazing support so far, we`ll be working hard to get the word out to more potential Backers this final week. We think the updated reward packages at $50K CAD pledged are amazing deals and should help convince a few more to show their support and click the Kickstarter Link below.

Another Successful Kickstarter, Thank You All!

PeaceRiverandNuCoalKickstarterThankYouAl

Thank you to all our amazing backers for your support of the Heavy Gear Blitz Peace River & NuCoal Core Plastic Miniatures Kickstarter. Your pledges raised $40,912 CAD, which gives us our initial funding goal of $25K for the first plastic injection mold and unlocked the first 6 Stretch Goals.

Kickstarter will process all the pledges over the next 2 weeks and we'll work on the Pledge Manager website to have it ready to send out invites to Backers soon after that. About a week after we email out invites to the Pledge Manager we plan to open it to outside Backers and start our extra funding campaign to get Stretch Goal 09 unlocked at $50K CAD and fund the second plastic injection mold. We'll make updates when the invites go out and when the Pledge Manager is opened to outside Backers.

Stretch goals fall into three categories:
PDF stretch goals that all backers receive Print stretch goals that can fit into the boxed set, which will be included with any pledge that has the physical boxed set The "Print Pack," which is a printed collection of the stretch goals which don't fit in the boxed set Here is a rough outline of possible stretch goals, which may evolve as the Kickstarter continues.

      About this project
Code Zero is a 32mm miniatures skirmish game set in a futuristic alternate universe. Players take control of a small squad of troops, broken up into fireteams, competing with each other to achieve one or several objectives and complete their mission. These combat situations usually take place within a theater of war, on the borders along the core worlds of various factions. These dangerous worlds and systems which are on the outskirts of secured core sectors are known as Code Zero's. The owners of the territories tend to change hands monthly since many of them are inhabited by second class citizens, those trying to survive and make a living in harsh future.
Code Zero is designed to create a cinematic feel of gameplay, while reflecting the dynamic ebb and flow of the battle that can happen within any given engagement. We do this by utilizing an action/reaction system, allowing both players to interact in a method keeping everyone engrossed with the battle. Utilizing alternate activations along with a different method to resolve reactions this can create some unique situations
The first of our miniatures for this universe are digitally sculpted, 3d printed and cast in high quality resin.

      Project: Captain Redbeard's Pirate Dwarves

      About this project
Avast me hearties! Splice the mainbrace and beat to quarters, that galleon is bilged on her anchor and ripe for the picking! Bring us alongside Gibbs. Boomer, get ready on the gun! Pete my boy, are you loaded? Hefty, Sharktooth, Deadeye, follow me! Gyaaarh!

This project is to fund production of a pirate dwarf crew, a set of unique miniatures forming a warband of adventuring buccaneers for skirmish gaming or a unit of mercenary fighters in a larger dwarf army.
They are 28mm metal miniatures, sculpted by Mark Evans, who produced all the dwarf sculpts in our previous kickstarter.

This time we have decided to offer only one pledge level, with all stretch goals being free additions to the set. If you want multiple sets just increase your pledge amount accordingly.
Pledge price includes FREE SHIPPING in the UK and discounted shipping of just £2 for anywhere else worldwide.
If successfully funded each backer will receive one each of Captain Redbeard's crew plus any applicable stretch goals-
      1. Cap'n Redbeard   2. Bo'sun Gibbs   3. Deadeye Dan
      4. Hefty Hawkins      5. Slick Willie         6. Sharktooth Jack
      7. Pigwash    8. Little Pete      9. Boomer Svensson and Swivel Gun
The Captain himself. As gnarly a swashbucking, treasure-hungry dwarf as you could ever hope to meet. He'll fight anyone and anything if there's a promise of doubloons which makes his crew a useful mercenary force to bolster any dwarf army (just don't pay him in advance).
The captain's trusted Bo'sun, often found leading boarding parties or manning the ship when the captain takes a raiding party ashore.
His aim is as good with his axe as with his pistol, as many an enemy has found out
Avast behind! The crew will often mutter about hefty, but not within earshot of him. If you have a door to kick down, a bear to wrestle or a sandwich to eat, he's your man.
The general opinion among the crew is the Willie fancies himself, with his goatee, ponytail and feather in his hat, he cares a bit too much about his appearance.
Sharktooth is just a thorough git, a complete thug with a pair of wicked short knives that earned him his nickname.
Rumour has it that Pigwash was once captain of his own ship, nobody knows for sure and nobody likes to ask because of that big axe he carries around.
The smallest of the crew, some say he's overcompensating but with his blunderbuss he can clear a deck or blow a dwarf sized hole in a city gate.
He's got you covered, the swivel gun is small enough that the crew will often take it ashore for some extra firepower.

This looks like it could be fun. Pre-painted minis with an odd choice for scale, 65 to 85mm. The early samples do look good though:
