Awesome, you did an amazing work on these. I didn't follow the WIP so it's a great surprise for me to see this stunning piece.

The color are really vivid and the eyes are truly beautiful. Congrats!

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.  The figure turned out to be more than just a quick game piece like I had planned originally.

Haha. I didn't realize you REALLY took my suggestion^^. That's quite cool. And you did an awesome work on those two. Colours are great and the paintjob is wonderfully executed.

They make a perfect pair.

Thanks for sharing!

They do make a DELIGHTFULLY whimsical pair. Your brushwork & basing are of a level that can be achieved by most of us only in our dreams.

I love the white spots you did on Spire's cap...very realistic. OUTSTANDINGLY WELL DONE!

Really expressive faces, like this a lot.

Thanks, I started to notice how you paint the eyes help a lot with this.  More experiment might be needed.

Thanks for those kind words and the whimsical mushrooms.  I have an idea for the others as well. Soon.

Thanks and I agree about composition especially in such a tiny medium.

So I painted her as my player character in an upcoming game, the tricky thing was that she had some pretty bad burn scars. I tried to paint a burn scar on her shoulder holding the wand, I am not sure how well it came out.

As always let me know what you all think of her.

I feel I should also apologize for the photo quality, I am trying to get something set up for decent pictures.

As mentioned in the Rabbits topic, when I first saw 03929: Drangus, Duckman Warrior, I knew I'd found the opposition for my Rabbits.
The problem is, duckmen don't seem nearly as common as Rabbits.
      This is my current "army".

That's two copies of Drangus and Oathsworn's duck-billed platypus (it's got a bill so close enough!!).

So far my quick search has only tracked down one set of Duckmen, by Rebel Minis (bookmarked!!).
I'm hoping Reaper will expand their Duckman line in the comming months as well (please?).

I'll be doing a weapon swap on one of the two Drangus's (Drangi?) to make them a little different.
So if you know of any more Duckmen figs, or just duck figs, or really any associated waterfowl or waterfowlmen, feel free to let me know.

These were made by me out of fimo air (I have recently strated making these whenever I have leftover clay from my other sculpts, which is always ). They are super quick and simple sculpts but I like them. They were actually painted by my sister and I think she did a lovely job.

I apologize for the flash in advance, I just didn't menage to set the lighting right so their faces can be seen

Maybe this should have gone in the Sculpting thread, but I didn't make a build log when I sculpted these about four years ago. It was my first game DMing, a 5e homebrew, and enigmatic mycelial conspiracies played a large part. At this point I only knew the FLGS as a source of minis, and they didn't have any myconids. So I made do. One of them is based loosely off of bracket fungus and one off of amanita toadstools.
Showing them off now because a) I picked up some Nolzur/Wizkids new Myconid Adult sculpts to go along with them, and b) I'm seeing so many wonderful mushroom-folk on the forums and love jumping in front of bandwagons.

The sculpting was ham-fisted and the painting leaves much to be desired, but I am proud of one innovation that you can use for your myconids: for that enokitake effect, get a bunch of sewing pins, clip to different lengths, and bend them into a gentle curve near the cut or pointy end.  Cluster as necessary.
