@OneBoot put up a (locked?) thread in the FAQ section.

I was actually responding to someone else's thread who was also asking about picture uploading issues. I let the poster know that kit is aware of the issues and is working on things.

I have no more information than the rest of you. -_-

If we are listing odds and ends, then I have noticed the "Last Visited" line that appears in the box that pops up when you mouse over someone's name is not always accurate. (At least, not for me) For example, it shows @alchemist last visited March 1, 2017.

I think this is a result of logging in anonymously, and possibly not a bug.  It is certainly not new.

Alchemist is correct; that's a feature, not a bug. On the old version of the forums, it would say 'Private' instead of a date, which was more clear.

Huzzah!

The Today's Birthdays bug is still there, too.  Am I the only one seeing this?

Spoiler

What is your time zone?

It could be as simple as your local settings.

I don't have this issue on my devices and can't replicate it.

That's an interesting theory (and likely right) - but it means that the information is being pulled two different ways, probably due to the client/server relationship.

With that in mind, I assume the panel on the right is loaded when the page is served, but the pop out window probably relies on something like JSON or something to pull the information, so rather than using the local server time it uses the user's time, but then doesn't convert it based on their time zone settings. The simplest fix would be to not pass the date at all, but in the query pulling the birthdays default the parameter to getdate() (or whatever the DB equivalent is if not using SQL).

To test, I changed my time zone setting to +14. It popped the results similar to @alchemist 's: two mismatched lists.

Alchemist is from the UK Iḿ from the Netherlands.

I see this as well.

It changed since the last update.

Before that it was all in sync.

We see B-days from today and when you click on view all, we see the ones from the day before instead of those of today.

I am in the UK, currently on British Summer Time (GMT+1).  My local settings appear to be correct, as far as I can see.

Right, so to test, set your time zone to Central US (like on a PC, probably harder to test on other devices). The two birthday panels should then match up.

What's happening is you are seeing the birthdays local to Reaper on the main site, and when you click in and bring out the pop out it uses your local date, so it returns a different set of birthdays.

I understand, but this didn't happen before the update, it seems it then recognized the different timezones.

It's no biggie, but just something that changed for us.
