Ancient Skeleton horde (photo heavy)

These are very cool!

I can see Sindbad the Sailor turning pale upon seeing them.

As for sealer I prefer Reaper Brush on Sealer, If I need areas to shine I apply a little gloss varnish later.

For spray on, I use Army Painter Anti Shine, has a nice matt finish.

Those look amazing! Those green eyes look like they are really glowing. The patina on the bronze also looks fantastic

      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/831472366/corvus-corax-miniatures-onwards?ref=hero_thanks

Corvus Corax Miniatures is a small hobby project created in 2013. Since then, I have had three projects successfully funded on Kickstarter and all have been fully delivered on time without any delays. The feedback from the backers have only been positive.

The Funding Goal is for 50,000 SEK (Swedish Crown) which equals aprox. $5,700, €4,800 or £4,300 (exchange rates may vary, please check your current ones).

The goal of this project is to attempt to raise funds for the production of totally 12 miniatures; six for the Clansmen of Caer Loch and six for the Sons of Yetl Black. The miniatures will be cast in high quality, non-toxic, resin. The scale of the miniatures are 35 mm (measuring to the eyes in a standing, straight pose, although some characters can be slightly larger because they are supposed to be large characters).

The miniatures have already been sculpted and pre-production resin casts have been completed and approved for final production if the funding is reached. A successful project here will help me be able to pay for the resin casting, and it will help me to kickstart the miniature range and expand it even further!

you can also pick up stuff from the previous project

      size/scale comparisons

Typically, the estimated shipping cost break down as following (however, note that this is a rough estimation, and that the shipping cost will be based on the weight of each package, which might differ depending on which miniatures and how many you choose to select). The following is only ESTIMATED and does not mean that it is final.
      •1-4 miniatures: €5
      •5-12 miniatures: €10
      •13+ miniatures: €15

This does NOT include tracking. If you want to include tracking (recommended letter) that will cost an extra €10 in addition to the shipping cost (for example, the estimated shipping cost for 12 miniatures with tracking would end up at €20). The insurance for recommended letter is at max value of 2,000 SEK.

I've backed and got the minis from all of the previous project and have been delighted with them

I'm slowly working through all my minis up on corks. This one is a hero character fig from the third Star Hat Miniatures kickstarter. I guess I’m happy enough at how its come out at least as far as I just do simple paint jobs to tabletop. The fig is metal and had an intrinsic base that I extended out with some poorly applied greenstuff, and made the skull at the same time.

      Critiques welcome

The painting theme of the month has been chosen! The Undead of October will emerge from their (freshly painted) graves The miniatures have been selected… Here’s what's on the painting table:

9 Bones Skeletons (from Bones 2)
6 Undying (Death, minotaur, lizardman, elf, halfling, & dwarf skeletons from Bones 3)
      Bone Fiend (Bones 2)
      4 mummies (Bones 2)
Hecklemeyer & Styx (25th Anniversary mini)
Dust King & Tomb (Bones 3)
      Demi-Lich (Bones 2)
      3 Nefsokar mummies (Bones 1)

26 (or 28 if you count the broken tomb and the tiny puppet) minis, in 31 days? Less if you count the vacation in the middle of the month… Plus one day since I started on the last day of September. Granted, the skeletons should all go really quickly, but even still, it’ll be a push to get it done, but this would push me over 100 minis for 2018…

Since everything is already lined with brown liner, the plan is:
Dirty Bone on all the bone and mummy wrapping!
Scorched Metal all the armor and weapons
Heavy Sepia Wash pretty much everything
      Highlights

      Special Minis:
      Demi-Lich - Thinking green/purple flames?
Hecklemeyer - Black & White costume? Black, White, & Red?
Nefsokar mummies - Lots of gold and bronze.
Dust King - Seriously tempted to paint it up like the ice lich from Warcraft…

As for their bases? That’s a little more work. The skeletons, bone fiend, and maybe the dust king will get bases to match the flocking on the tombstones. The demi-lich and hecklemeyer will probably get some sort of sculpted flagstone base. The mummies? Haven’t decided. Seriously tempted to give them dungeon flagstone bases too…

Okay, so it’s really unlikely I’ll finish all of these in October, but maybe by November?

Finally got around to take pictures of my Warhammer diorama.
I entered it into a local competition, and was lucky enough to win the Warhammer category. Thanks to everyone who wrote a comment in the WIP thread.

..Sorry for the overload of pictures!  -could'nt help myself..

Although on these pictures I can see many mistakes, I am quite happy with it.
Hope you enjoy it, and as always any comment, critiq or question is welcome.
