I pledged for one as well... because I want them all, but can only afford one.

Same story here, just put my pledge in for one, all I can afford at the moment. Probably flowers.

You pledge for the amount you want, but it appears that you select which ones after the KS is complete.

I want to get the entire flower pack...but with how little basing I've done thus far, it's hard to excuse spending that much.

And I looked again...now I want all the things...

...I think I need to start basing things and see how it goes.

These look wonderful.  But at only a $2 savings over retail I can limit myself to a few to try out.

But if you buy 4 packs that's like buying 3 and getting 1 free at retail ::D:

Upped my soloist pledge to two sets, so I can get one flowers and one debris green grass tuft. Excited for these. I saw some HO size items at hobby lobby and they were 9.99 for 30. so this is definitely worth it.

We must've been on the same wavelength. I also upped my pledge to add a debris tuft. Went with the Burned Debris Tuft. I like the little white dead branch looking thingies. I wonder what they used for those dead sticks.

Got at least a minimal pledge in since I want to at least try these out.  We'll see if I break down and add enough for another set, but I sure don't need the full set.

I'm tossing up whether to back this or not. How good is the value on this Kickstarter compared to just buying some grass tufts currently available to buy?

I've had a bit of a look at prices and options online, but this stuff is still very new to me, so I'm unsure as to what a good price is.

Speaking as a Canadian who is affected by the exchange rate and higher postage fees, Id have to say that the appeal here is not in a great value on pricing, but rather the variety of tufts on offer.

Especially in the coloured flower tufts.

The flower tufts look like something unique.  secret weapon and Scenics Express both offer pretty good tufts for grasses, about the same prices, no waiting.  However, the flowers shown here are much nicer and have better convenience and randomness than anything i have seen anywhere else.  I will have to look into picking up some of these at retail when everyone gets a good look at them.

Didn't see a post about this yet:
      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/deadlyprintstudio/battlefx

BattleFX is a bundle comprising of several 3D designs of dynamic effects and destructible terrain for wargames. ready for you to print.
Every item of the bundle has been carefully designed and tested to be 3D printed. this kickstarter includes a STL pack of each pledge, ready to be printed using your own 3D printer - or alternatively, using online 3D printing services.
After working extensively on the movie FX sector, we realized we could apply that experience to our wargamme hobby - and taking things to the next level.
We have been working very hard and have already finished designing and testing every one of the items on our basic pledge, therefore guaranteeing that YOU will get it. However, we want to continue creating and offering you new, epic effects for your wargames - hence the advance stretchgoals!
/*Included in Kaboom Pledge and above*\
It has the widest range from trusters to muzzles flashes and smoky Fx!
S - Muzzles Flashes S - Trusters S - Smoky things!  We are getting more serius here big booms and more complex Fx:
M - Big weapongs, explosion and Sci-fi Fx M - Smoke Shell, lateral atack, Sci-fi barrier and barrels Fx  The Big Boys. It takes some time to print, but it also turns your war gaming table into a real battlefield.
L - Smoke grenade, Orbital atack L - Fire, water and ground explosions  The Kickstarter Star Product, the Epic Fx! Destructible, reassemblable scenography and cool lighting.

      About
"...Aulë made the dwarves strong to endure. Therefore they are stone-hard, stubborn, fast in friendship and in enmity, and they suffer toil and hunger and hurt of body more hardily than all other speaking peoples; and they live long, far beyond the span of Men, yet not forever."
      -J. R. R. Tolkien
Dwarves really are the best! While they're often a bit rough around the edges, they have the best accents, are insatiably loot-hungry, and will fight anything that moves—so we are going to make a bunch more of them!
We've assembled them into adventuring parties to make it easier for us to pack and ship. You can add an additional adventuring party to your base reward for $22. Additional individual dwarves can be added to your base reward for $5 each. For a slightly larger view of the minis, check them out on our blog. Here are the adventuring parties:
From Left to Right: Male Dwarven Brawler, Female Dwarven Bard, Male Dwarven Deathknight, Male Dwarven Druid, Female Dwarven Warrior
The League seeks out the ancient dwarven knowledge hidden deep within the lost caverns. They hope that, in time, civilized dwarves will once again inhabit those hallowed halls.
From Left to Right: Male Dwarven Rogue, Female Dwarven Sheildbreaker, Male Dwarven Battlerager, Male Dwarven Mage, Female Dwarven Archer
Hogg's Tavern is not the sort of place that anyone should visit . . . at least not anyone who values their life or health. Surprisingly, it has regulars. Its patrons are usually adventures past their prime or looking to make a name for themselves.
From Left to Right: Female Dwarven Mechanist, Male Dwarven Automaton, Male Dwarven Gunslinger, Female Dwarven Automage, Male Dwarven Investigator
Not everyone has embraced the "advances" made in the Steam Valley workshops. When the Savages descended on the valley, the Seigebreakers and their constructs helped turn the tide against the invading armies.
From Left to Right: Female Dwarven Vampire Hunter, Male Dwarven Undead Elite, Male Dwarven Necromancer, Female Dwarven Huntsman, Male Dwarven Warlord
The lands beyond Raven's Gate are shrouded in perpetual mists and haunted by the undead. Only the very brave or the very foolish venture there. Why not both?
From Left to Right: Female Dwarven Barbarian, Female Dwarven Berserker, Female Dwarven Wandsmith, Male Dwarven Fighter, Male Dwarven Barbarian
The Iron Hills are not an easy country to grow up in. There's bitter cold winters and orcish armies locked in perpetual combat. That's not even mentioning the greatwolves. No one ever mentions the greatwolves.
Every Stretch Goal we hit will add more dwarves (or dwarf-related miniature items/companions) to the Completionist Set. When we have enough of these for a new adventuring party, a new party will be formed. Here are our stretch goals:
At $7,500 the Female Dwarven Cleric will be unlocked and added to the Dwarves Vol. 2 Completionist Reward. She will also made available as a $5 add-on.
At $10,000 the Male Dwarven Buccaneer will be unlocked and added to the Dwaves Vol. 2 Completionist Reward. He will also be made available as a $5 add-on.
As we hit these stretch goals, more dwarves will be unleashed!
