Gorgeous looking minis in the add-on. The update has closeups of several renders.

Those are nice, but I'm hoping they aren't going to start pulling a confrontation move.

Haven't looked at the gameplay. Just eyeballing the minis so far.

The scale may be the dealbreaker for me. The sculpts are great, but if the humans tower over 32mm scale stuff, most if it becomes unusable for me out of the board game. And my motivation to paint or pay for the plastic drastically decreases.

Do they have a scale shot? That may influence my purchase.

I don't believe that ... but I'm having other misgivings, especially the fact that I find watching those game play videos extremely tedious, partially because the game play does not grab me.

One thing that they've said about the game play videos is that you have to liken this more to something like a role playing game. Watching videos of people playing D&D can be a downright snoozefest, whereas playing the game yourself is obviously much more engaging.

It's been a really odd campaign. They're still gaining backers, but so many people seem to have jumped on that early bird "just because" and are now leaving that it's grinding to a standstill. Hopefully they can get it moving forward again.

I'm still in.... but am like 99% out... The value thing is not a big concern for me.  The question about scale does and they haven't really addressed it or shown any scale shot that I am aware of. 14 more days though so I am still waiting and watching.

This is a very cool RPG product where you'll find a use for all those Mythos minis you've been collecting. One of the authors is a longtime friend and gamemaster of mine, I'm sure this will scare the pants out of your players!
From the kickstarter: The Sassoon Files will be released as a PDF and a printed book, approximately 150 - 200 pages long.

It is played in a campaign spanning several months in 1509 in which you play a small team of Assassins in charge of developing the Headquarters of the Brotherhood of Assassins in Venice, after Ezio Auditore da Firenze has defeated Cesare Borgia and his allies, between the events of Assassin’s Creed®: Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed®: Revelations.
Players will use their Assassin's skills, equipment and their own sense of tactics to complete various objectives while evading detection from the Guards.

I don't think anyone has flagged up this yet:

Starting on October 15th. I rather like the Samurai Chow, and some of the others look good too.

      About this project
The Secret of Innsmouth. Act Three: Metamorphosis!
This campaign features new sculpts that will, if the campaign is successful, join the existing Mythos range of 28mm scale white metal miniatures from Blind Beggar Miniatures..
Whereas the first two Acts demonstrated the first stages of transformation into the Hybrid, this sequel features the final stages of the Metamorphosis from Hybrids into full blown Deep Ones.
This campaign will allow for the Hybrids released in Acts One and Two, and the Dark Clergy, to be added to your Pledge if you choose to. .
Alongside the Deep Ones and Hybrids there is also the chance to get your hands on the human populace of Innsmouth. These could represent the 'untainted' members of the population or, alternatively, Government Agents or Investigators who are attempting to eliminate this activity in this cursed coastal region.
Act Three: The Deep Ones of Innsmouth.

As you can see from the pictures above, the transformation from Hybrid to Deep One moves slowly through various stages. The process of metamorphosis means the loss of their more 'human-like' features that are still in existence in the earlier Hybrid phases. These features begin to disappear as they gradually take on the semblance of the creatures of Dagon and become Deep Ones and take to the water.
As Deep Ones age they continue to grow and become much larger and bulkier as they reach Ancient One status.
