I can't believe how excited this question has me.  I love tools.

When you don't know what a tool is for, any tool can be a hammer.

Let's see: the big golden one, the little black and yellow one, a purple one and one that has various sized screwdrivers built into the handle. Oh and many various tiny plastic and metal ones.

The golden hammer has a plaque with my name on it. It was an award for best theater techie my sophomore year of high school.

Also, the number of people that can just list the hammers they own off the top of their heads is pretty awesome.

I have at least three, possibly a few more.  Three claw hammers (of varying weights, head shapes, and material), and I think I have a sledge or two.  Been a while since I've looked at those particular hand tools...

Well, y'see, I just had to clean out my toolbox. It was located under a leaky pipe, and I didn't fancy all the gross water rusting our tools. Especially the ten thousand wrenches we seem to have. (It you asked me how many of those there are I'd have to go home and count them. I do know we have a teensy-tiny one that makes me absurdly happy in the same way that this hobby does.)

At least 6 real hammers. I had a good 4+ on my own, my wife had at least 2.

Of course what I really need is a hammer that will leap into my hand on command, like Chris Helmsworth's does.

Mind you, the bill for broken windows might be a bit of a problem...

Two, if you count a meat tenderizer as a hammer, and not some other category of tool. (Well, Lady Klarg also has a conventional claw hammer, so I suppose three for the household.)

Of course, there are any number of blunt objects in the house which can (and in some cases have) serve as improvised hammers as well.

Lots. I've got one of most major types, and multiple weights and styles for many of them. I kinda want a nylon hammer, since I need something between metal and rubber.

My favorite (Mjolnir, of course), is a 5# sledge.

I have one that is in my apartment, but on the farm I'm not actually sure how many I have. More than 10. There are claw hammers, ball peen hammers, cross peen hammers, slag hammers, sledge hammers...well you get the gist.

Not entirely sure but a half dozen I use regularly from a small ball peen up to a 16 pound sledge.

Ain't that the truth. Seems like half the time I don't have one with me when I need it so I've used rocks, box wrenches, pipe wrenches, pipes and other stuff. Most of the time it's better to just go get the hammer but always got to try and save some time first. :upside:

The year is halfway over! What do you want to achieve this month?

      Here's my list:

      - Get blog going again.
      - Finish editing photos from last November >.<
      - Paint Bones Sphinx (by August 4).
      - Figure out how many other projects I have to do (that aren't already on the table) and give them time lines.
      - Figure out a giveaway for 1000 followers on IG.

      The obligatory rulze posting:

      1. Every day, or so (unless I am out or ill or something) I will post a question.
1.5. Should I be unable to post a question for the day a crack team of deputy quisitors, former quisitors, and random forum members are all chomping at the bit to step in and take my place...
      2. In theory there is a 24 hour span to answer that question before the next question is posted.
2.5. (Rule 2 is the most frequently ignored rule.)
      3. Questions are going to be posted between 6AM and 8AM EST
      4. Everyone is encouraged to suggest future questions to be posted via PM to me.
      5. You do not have to answer every question to play...
      6. If a question is TMI or N/A simply wait for the next question.. ..or post that you decline to answer (clues regarding why are always fun).
      7. Weekend questions may take the form of two or three day challenges, often starting on Fridays.

I'm going to go walk the dogs, and then post the first question of the month...

Huh usually I put one of these up sooner than this. Just been busy I guess.
      Who's all going?
How did you fair in the hotel lottery?

       So Sunday was event registration.
Did you get into the events you wanted?

My group did fairly well at the hotel thing this year even though we had to split the group this year. both hotels are fairly close.
I got into most of the events I wanted. had some issues with the priority system preventing me from getting into events because it conflicted with another event that I would only be going to if I hadn't gotten into an earlier time. Yet some how it did allow me to sign up for 2 Speed paints that conflicted with other events that I got into. (and I only realized one before paying)
Also I just a bit ago remembered that I wanted to do a Frostgrave event but they are all sold out already.
