Winter Wolf (In White) - 77437

Recommended Posts

I found one more wolf in my "hoard of unpainted things". He must have been in the Halloween goodies or the Christmas stocking. Oh well, I wanted a white wolf for my pack and now I have one! I would take more poses of wolves (hint, hint, Reaper!)

You have a real flair for the lupine Folk. Fur, teeth, & eyes are WONDERFUL; plus you made the most of the base. VERY WELL DONE!

One of my goals this year is to work through my pile of unpainted Bones from all the kickstarters.  First up, a mini that was used as a test piece and then put back to gather dust for a few years.  It was painted fairly quickly using glaze technique, which helped keep me from fussing over the details. One mini off the shelf of shame (or rather, out of the plastic box of shame).

I finally got around to painting up one of the ogres from the last kickstarter. I went with a nice standard paint theme, nothing too suprising.

This is what I'm working on at the moment. I had to start over a few time due to issues with the sculpt. Before I even got started I had to, well I didn't have to but I chose to, fix some of the more obvious problems with the sculpt using Apoxie Sculpt. Some of the mail had no detail at all, so I add it in, and there were some just terrible mold lines. I finally just decided to say forget it and move on with the painting. I was going for more of a grey skin, but ended up with a greener skin. I'm ok with where it's going, but on the next Orc I'll adjust the skin tone. Sorry the pics are a bit wonky.
