"Looks like an invitation to me."

"Hell, why not?"

I'm for the "Way to certain death" if anyone else. I will of course not go in alone or unprepared of course.

"Shouldn't we be checking the wall behind the Nalfeshnee while we're next to the area? Maybe treasure, maybe some monstrosity waiting to sneak up from behind us. Either way, best to clear the area and make sure before moving on. I'd hate to be trying to get outta the dungeon, injured and low on magic, pursued by enemies, and then be ambushed by something there."

"What the paladin says is wise. We should make sure there are no trap doors behind us.  There seems to be an abundance of them already."

Perception check on the wall to see if there is any doors.  D20 + 4 = 9

The immobile skeleton of a giant snake coils around the upper half of the northernmost pillar (closest pillar to you).   From the entrance, you can see some writing on the southeast wall, but imtervening pillars prevent you from making it out.

This I guess

How long would it take to check all the pillars in this room?

(I didn't know there were that many pillars.)

Finn takes a moment to give the room a quick once over for anything interesting before deciding on a direction.
