About

The legendary viking board game designed by Eric M. Lang and with art by Adrian Smith is being turned into a full-fledged digital game by Exozet!

For $15 the base Digital Viking pledge gets you a copy of the Blood Rage Digital game. This is a special price for backers, as the game will eventually retail for almost twice as much. The Digital game is expected to launch in December 2019, though backers will be able to get access to a Closed Beta much earlier than that. Find out more about the digital game further down the page.

If your focus is the analog Blood Rage board game, however, you may be interested in the special $60 Physical Viking Pledge, which gets you not only a free copy of the Blood Rage Digital game, just as explained above, but also a slew of Kickstarter Exclusive promos to use with the Blood Rage board game! This includes new versions of the 4 Monsters only available in the original Kickstarter campaign, the brand-new Stag Clan (including their Mystics and Sculpted Clan Tokens), and also 24 Cards to add a 5th Player into the board game!

While the Blood Rage Digital game is set to launch in December 2019, the physical promo items are expected to be delivered to backers beforehand, around August 2019.

Hm ... not interested in the digital game. What about the miniatures, let's see ...

- alternate sculpts of KSE exclusive nicely circumventing backer anger ... but those sculpts don't do much for me and they don't add much (if at all) to the game

- a new clan ... looks nice but ...

- I already have enough clans and even with that clan, only five players can play

- $60 plus probably $30 shipping ... that's simply too expensive in my opinion

- if no free stretch goals are added, I will find it easy to resist (... thank you CMON ...)

I actually like the sculpts for the new KSEs, I especially like the Giantess.  However, I agree that the price is too high to get me to bite.

I put in $1 for now.  Might just leave it there in case they do something radical like re-release all the first KS stuff during the pledge manager.  Don't really care about the digital game since I expect it will be $5 on Steam within a couple years after release.

I dropped out. $60 is too much for what you get. I went full in on the original... nothing here really draws me in.

What I like about this campaign:

- Garm

- Seer Troll

- Stag Clan (though there is no need for a 6th clan)

- Clan Tokens

The wolfwoman idea is great, but I don't really like the sculpt. Hate the giantess miniature and art. The golden gods are OK, maybe they will make nice statues for D&D, but I don't have much use for them as I already own the gods of Asgard expansion.

I'm on the fence, here's hoping for some nice SG along the way.

This makes me tempted to sell off my original KS stuff...is that weird?

Because other people will appreciate how great the original Mountain Giant was compared to this rubbish new one or because you like some of the new sculpts?

Because I haven't played the game in forever and this KS has done nothing to increase my desire to play.

Gotcha. I haven't played it in quite a long time but it was very popular back when I did. I wouldn't mind revisiting it some time but those resculpts are pretty hideous. I do have friends abroad who'd enjoy the opportunity to play with me so the digital pledge option is rather attractive.

It's also a lot cheaper and doesn't have ugly resculpts.

This KS leaves a bad taste in my mouth, it does not endear CMON to me. It looks like a cheap cash-in. Some of the new sculpts are - in my opinion - atrocious. Looks like no stretch goals had been prepared - feels like "let's see how much we can milk the stupid cattle" ($90 for four monsters and a clan and shipping)!. The stretch goals they have now ... well ... nothing I could get enthusiastic about it. Maybe I'm simply not the target group, but to me it really felt like milking backers and after a certain amount of outrage backpedaling.

This. It is actually turning me off of the idea of CMON even further. I have never been super impressed with their thought processes on stuff, but this one almost feels underhanded.

Campaign link, because I'm awake now:  https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gameenvy/the-worlds-most-versatile-painting-handle-and-grip?ref=user_menu
      About
The Hobby Holder is the only all-in-one mini holding solution and the most versatile painting handle and grip on the market.
And now it is better than ever with the addition of an injection molded Ergonomic Grip Mod and XL Stability Bar that seamlessly integrate with the original Hobby Holder!
Since our first campaign was a smash hit last year, the original Hobby Holder All-in-one Miniature Painting Handle and Grip (Patent Pending) by Game Envy has had a global impact on miniature painting with well over 4000 painters in 54 countries now using the Hobby Holder as part of their painting arsenal!
We have talked to hundreds of painters across the globe at conventions, online and in person, and we have listened to your wants and needs. Now we are back to add two new pieces to the Hobby Holder system: the Ergonomic Grip Mod for even greater control and comfort and the XL Stability Bar for more support with a wider range of miniature sizes. We are also adding more color to your desks with New Colors of the original Hobby Holder parts with a second production run!
Make painting more miniatures a New Years resolution!
The Hobby Holder is the World's Most Versatile, All-in-one Miniature Paint Handle And Grip
The translucent blue parts are resin printed prototypes. Attach Miniatures to the Hobby Holder with Standard 28mm Bottle Caps or Even Wine Corks for Pinning.
Accepts 28mm plastic caps; Citadel ™ Paint Caps; Formula P3 paint caps; and 20mm wine cork. With the innovative bottle cap attachment method, just stick your miniatures, based or unbased, to a standard soda/water bottle cap with your favorite sticky stuff (we use Loctite Fun-tak, the best blue-tak on the market!) and you can quickly and easily screw them on and off without ever touching the miniature! Perfect for batch painting because you can switch even wet miniatures without smudging.

New Ergonomic Grip Mod Provides Even More Control and Comfort Tailored to How You Paint.
Clicked into the Ergonomic Grip rotate your mini 360 degrees easily with one hand! The new Ergonomic Grip Mod gives even more support when attached to the bottom of the Hobby Holder Base and allows the use of the Stability Bar and Grip at the same time. Simply click in your Hobby Holder Base and start painting. The QuickClick design allows for Full 360 Degree Rotation of the Base with one hand while attached to the Grip Mod.
The Ergonomic Grip Mod is two pieces and can be taken apart and weighted if desired. It also has the option to add two standard nuts to screw in the original #6-32 bolt to lock down the Hobby Holder Base and now a 1/4" bolt to attach larger platforms if desired.
NEW XL Stability Bar Offers More Room For Larger Miniatures With the Same Superior Support.
The New XL Stability Bar uses the same QuickClick design as the Standard Size Stability Bar and attaches right onto the Hobby Holder base in Upright or Grip modes.
The XL Stability Bar accommodates miniatures with up to 70mm bases with ease and the offset finger support design allows you to attach miniatures that are even taller than the bar itself. The angle of the XL Stability Bar has been adjusted slightly so that even with the taller profile it is comfortable and easy to use with large or small hands.
Ultimate Support, Brush Control and Comfort with the Original Stability Bar and NEW XL Stability Bar
The stability bar rotates 360 degrees so you never have to let go of your miniatures.

      About
Sammy the Stab was a Halfling. Not your average pipe smoking, beer drinking happy-go-lucky hole dweller with a walking stick and a happy whistled song on her lips. Sammy was the type of Halfling with her sticky fingers in your pockets, sharpening her dagger or climbing out a window with a bulging sack of stolen property!
Sammy was a shifty, thieving little rogue that would steal your gold teeth if you fell asleep with your mouth open – but – Boy, could this hideous greasy little goblin, I mean halfling, open the strongest locked doors or root out the most elusive hidden treasure.
You absolutely need Sammy in your Adventures Party. Just keep your eye on her!
Organize and gather your Adventurers Party and get ready to descend into the Darkest Dungeon or the Scariest Forest or Wilderness.
      Treasure Awaits.
The Adventurers is a wide selection of beautifully sculpted very characterful Fantasy Characters. Suitable for Role-Players, Painters, Collectors, and anyone that enjoys really kick-broccoli Miniatures.
      The Full Collection GIRL POWER
In Celebration of the astounding news that the Spice Girls are reforming, we have a Fantastic Set of Female Characters for your Gaming pleasure.  Zig-a-zig ah!
Just joking! We constantly hear that there are not enough of the fairer sex so we we designed our range to include to a wide and varied group to spice up (sorry!) any Adventuring party. We have collected them all into one Posh Deal.
      Girl Power IT'S MAGIC
Here we have a Powerful group of Magicians, Enchanters, Sorcerers able to turn the tide of battle in your  favor.
It's Magic A word from Olsen of Olsen, True Adventurer
"I cannot fathom why I was asked to write a piece about our Magical Friends. A true Adventurer doesn’t hide in the shadows waiting for a safe moment to launch a fireball or lightning bolt. A real Adventurer goes toe-to-toe with the most dangerous of foes. See the panic in their eyes, smell their fear, and celebrate Victory with a Flagon of Ale; Now that is an Adventurer.  You don’t hide behind a rock, wait for a safe moment, then jump up and wave a stick and shout abra-ca-bloody-dabra." Just saying…
